I keep on getting killed by the Beast

How do I avoid being killed by the Beast. I don't really understand the pressing "W" thing.

    Isn't that pretty self-explanatory? Just...press the "W" Key

    How did you even get through the first episode WITHOUT pressing W? Pretty sure there was a few QTEs where you had to press it. If you managed to get this far without doing so though, fair play to you.

    I press the W key and then the Q key and still get killed, I watched my son play the first episode, to I started with the second.
