Storage Device removed crash.

Hello,

I've been a fan of Telltale's The Walking Dead series for sometime now. About a week ago I decided to play through Season One again and made the mistake of saving in a third save slot. About 2/3rd's of the way through episode five, a popup appeared, telling me that my storage device was removed. Thus far, I have done the following...

1.) Turned off my Xbox and checked the HDD drive. It functions fine with other games.
2.) I transferred the game to an external USB. The same thing happened.
3.) I transferred the game back to my hard drive, created a backup of my save data and then deleted the two saves not in use via the ingame save slot menu.

I'm not sure how to proceed from here. Would it help to delete all of Season One and re-download it all again and start with a new game? That's my tentative next step, but I'd rather not do it if other viable workarounds exist. I own an older Xbox Arcade with a 120gb elite hard drive. The game and it's episodes were purchased digitally over XBLA.

Thank you in advance.

I apologize for the inconvenience. After reading the steps you have already taken, it seems as though you have tried all of the solutions I would normally suggest. If you are still receiving the 'Storage Device Lost' error, I recommend deleting Season One from your system, as well as remove the save files from your hard drive (you can choose to back them up if you want) and then re-download the game, and start a new save. I sincerely apologize for any difficulties this may cause you.
