PEGI ratings seem to be a very unreliable source of how close the episode is, tough. They published theirs for ep2 TWAU in December and ep2 of TWD on the day it was released.

No. Telltale will never release an episode inside of two months again, regardless of what their mission statements say. Even though most fans of TWD and TWAU detest it, their recent timeline of 10-14 weeks between episodes has become begrudgingly accepted. A precedent has been set and i doubt they ever return to a shorter timeline - not with the other IP's they got coming online soon.

I think the only reason telltale released the second episode so late was because if you look at the ending of faith and see the teaser for ep 2it's completely different. They probably had a story issue so they had to completely redo the entire episode by February, in doing that they probably had to tweak all the other episodes. So in the end all the waiting that we've done is probably for the best. I know it sucks that we have to wait every time after we get back into the story but believe me I would rather have a delay that get a unfinished product.
As much as I know, usually the second episode always take longer than usual to be released. I say we give them two more episodes including A Crooked Mile to improve. One never knows. Maybe they're improving their release frame while we're talking. Just trying to be optimistic.
