Maybe the week of April 7th we will hear something ? thought I am really hoping this week we will hear something *anything. *I keep seeing stream being up dated and from what I hear that is a good sign right ?
Nothing to show that so far.... To my knowledge, there was a time when TT actually released the trailer for an ep of TWD 2 days before the actual release. I agree the lack of news unsettles me too, but all hope is not lost,yet...

If Wolf Among Us takes over a year to complete (which sort of looks like it will, with their massive wait time), what are the chances that telltales will move straight onto season 2 of the game so they can do yearly release like with walking dead.
Starting tomorrow it will have been two weeks since you promised we would have news "much sooner than you think." And we have NOTHING! Not even one screenshot. Not even a twitter announcement. Not even....... GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA THIS ISN'T sooner than you think. It's just not. I....... I'm just so disappointed. I'm going into pessimism mode now. My prediction? April 15.

It is kind of odd since, even without the announcement, people were predicting a release of april 1 and news a week before that. Makes me wonder why they'd say "news much sooner than you expect" then not provide any. >>
It's not like they even have to give a release date, but some news of some kind when they say they'll give it would be cool.

So over the shit. About ready to start playing games that give me a damn conclusion to it's story when I'm done playing it. Over waiting a year to find out how a story ends. They may not be as solid in story telling but at least I get quality hours of game play without waiting a year for it to end. Just shoot us straight and quit beating around the bush. It's absolutely absurd. What's the point of episodic anything if you can't have a consistent flow in the story.
Insulting moderaters and members of Telltale staff by name, which the video (or rather, most of the options you could pick at the multiple choice bit) did, is classified as trolling, which is why your comments and the video itself was flagged and removed.
In addition, the video was made by someone who was banned from the site, and we don't allow discussion of banned members, which is another reason we wanted to prevent discussion of it.
Finally... it's Hitler. Jumping the gun with Godwin's Law a bit there.
Gladly.

No, it did not clarify the matter. Considering that The Discussion about the Banned Member, (Don't even know who you're referring to in the Video), isn't actully named in the comments. What does that rule have to do with anything? Is there a rule about banned forum members being talked about outside of the forums? If so I will gladly except the flag, but I think more likely than not I'm in the wrong here and you're looking for an excuse to not let a mildly amusing video that is jokingly unflattering to moderators be spread to the community because it makes Telltale and you on the Moderator-Team look bad.
Gladly.

I initially had no problem with the video, and was going to keep it up.
However, as I watched it, one of the choices in the videos basically outright insulted moderators/Telltale staff.
It wasn't flagged because it criticized Telltale, and likewise we don't care if you criticize Telltale as long as you actually intend for constructive discussion.
Also, don't worry about the flags. Those don't mean you are in trouble.
As I said below, I was going to keep it up until I saw it outright insulting the moderators.
Mods are only volunteers. We don't lose sleep if Telltale gets criticized, as long as it is in the form of actual discussion as opposed to drama-mongering.

If it was offensive to someone why not just contact the uploader and ask him to remove the offensive content? Instead of flagging me and another user for trolling. I know our accounts won't be affected, but it is just as offensive some of you feel from the video, and being called a troll for not being anywhere close to anything that count as trolling. I just found the video on Reddit and shared it here. I thought if it hasn't been flagged on Reddit it can't have that bad content. It is a parody after all and should not be taken seriously.
I was the one who removed the video.

Sorry if it seemed like we were accusing you of trolling through flagging the post as that was not the intention. I just did so to get the discussion about the video to stop, not to personally accuse you of trolling.
I just want discussion about the video to stop as for these forums and these forums alone, it just starts pointless drama. You are correct in saying that the video is fine elsewhere, but if it insults users here, that is not ok.
I'm going to flag your above post too, but again you are not in trouble. Rather, I don't like the thread being derailed from the removal of the video.

Develop your game freely, without "episodes" constraints, like any game out there. After it being complete, you separate them into five, six or any other number of episodes. Then, make a release schedule and reveal it for the clients. As the game would be already complete, you could make a smaller gap between one episode for another, let's say, one month and a half , for exemple; this would be more than enough time to adjust some things on the already complete remaining episodes and you could even use some fan feedback to improve those episodes.
TL;DR: Only release the first episode when the overall production of the game is equal or superior to 75%
This would make people stop asking for release dates everytime (myself included) and it would improve TT's image and popularity even more.
I'm sorry, but unless I missed it, I was not able to find such tweet stating "We'll have news on its release much sooner than you think." I was not able to find Telltale's retweet of this, nor was I able to find Stauffer's. I think everyone needs to take it easy on Telltale. If you're expecting quality, don't expect them to rush out a game. Am I sick of waiting for the next amazing episode for The Wolf Among Us? Damn right, but I understand that it takes time. Personally, I'm not too fond of how Telltale operates. I don't like how their games aren't already scheduled for releases so their supporters can know before investing into an episode or even a season pass. I also don't like how they actually want people to believe they can work on 4 episodic games at once, or even continue to make a new season every year. Regardless of how I feel now, I'm not sure I can really complain about amazing pieces of entertainment that costs me $5. Anyway, I'm positive that episode 3 of The Wolf Among Us will release in April. I want to believe that Telltale will release episodes from now on in alternating months. The Wolf Among Us for April, The Walking Dead for May, and so on. Anyway, you all should have know the risks of buying into a Telltale game based on The Walking Dead: Season One alone.

Yup, and for episode 1 of TWD season 2, the release date was a few hours before the episode actually came out.
No news today? seriously?
that's bullshit.
A house divided trailer was released at Feb 27th, soooooo we still could have a chance of a trailer tomorrow
The same goes to Smoke and Mirrors, Jan 30
But we got some screens before...
Agreed i thought we'd be getting info sooner than expected
We had screenshots before the release dates, if the release date was April 1st we would have gotten screenshots by now.
Telltale seems to like pissing off their fans
At least the games are of extreme value

Stay tuned, we'll have news on it's release much sooner than you think...
You should at least apologize, Job.
Yes thats the least you could do Mr.Stauffer.

Your a bit too optimistic.

and that was the guy that sent the email.
Yep there goes our man.
Mother of god. Found this floating around on YouTube and Reddit. (I hope I'm allowed to post this because it criticizes Telltale a lot).
Man, I never laughted so much on a Hittler reacts video like this one

lol
Must be very confusing, huh?
Yeah but it was still awesome. I ignored every shit they said and just read the subs. ^^
(sigh) This movie will live on forever due to parodies like these, and I fucking love that.
I seriously need to watch it inevitably, too!
EDIT: Now this video will not get deleted...I hope so... ^^

I guess you moderators should also flag that video directly on youtube.
...what for?
(And by that I mean 'what would we flag it as?')
Nah forget what I said.

....MAAAAAAAANNN.... I hope we get a fucking meal this time, instead of waiting 3/4 months for another appetizer... I'M HUNGRY!
