And lose one of the most important female characters? No thanks. Besides, everyone knew she wasn't really dead, so would have been dumb to drag it out.
Especially since Snow was never dead and it was Lily the whole time. Or did you forget that part? The whole point of that was to show us that there is blackmarket glamour going around and eventually learns that Crane has been stalking Snow. Both of which we needed Lily for.
It was never and it would make sense for her return to be at the end of episode 2 or 3, her return had to be at the start of episode 2. Otherwise it wouldn't make sense.
Someone really has to make a gif out of some of these conversations in Episode 2 :'D
'Yeah, she's a troll. Can we move on?'
'Certainly another troll.'
I grinned like a madman through this whole conversation
It could be that Telltale has nerfed him. Or it could be due to shock, stress, fatigue (He has been through a fight) and the great amount of… more other smell in the city that caused him to be unable to smell Snow's scent. I remember back in the comics that it is mention that he has to smoke heavily and mentally filter the smell in the city in order to prevent him from being overloaded.
Dude aint nobody thinkin about gender, this is all for the sake of story telling. She was thought to be dead in a nowhere near casual way but then the next episode its like she just got back from her grandma house -_-...you shouldn't do that to people or to advance a story, make the answer just as deep as the problem.
Have one of the leading ladies gone longer? That would have been extremely sexist, especially since there aren't that many other female characters in the game yet.
Fables revive if their story is still popular, she could have died then came back since this game is BEFORE the comics, chill out. And how is it cliche? How many story books and games have YOU played where snow white or some other very popular princess DIED?? You got yo vision stuck on pan while we tryin to look at widescreen homie. And plus we just said we've never read the comics, so imagine how this all looks to us. Step outta yo shoes dude.
Killing off an important female character isn't a great "storyline", it's cliche. The fact that she's still alive actually makes the story better.
The game is in continuity with the comics, so they obviously were never going to kill her.
You are assuming that Crane is the killer while it's obviously wasn't him. Crane is guilty of being a stalker and a Pervert, but we don't know if he's the killer. So you are not making any sense.
So you don't want any female characters in the game? Keeping Snow gone would be a terrible idea, especially since she's one of the most impo… morertant Fables. Hell, this game is set to show us how she too Crane's job and became the deputy mayor that she is in the comics, which means she has to be alive.
Look nobody is sexiest jeeze grow-up. The killing important characters add suspence to a story it gives a "nobody is untouchable" vibe to a story. When i saw Snow Whites head i wasnt happy! my heart sank into my ass people. i needed to know who was going to answer for this but then they make her come back like its another Saturday morning! She can come back, im just sayin make it look godd when you do it TT.
My guy have you ever heard of convience? They could have done plenty of things. Come on now dude are you tellin me that the ending of episode one and the trailer the follows matches up perfectly with episode two? Cuz Bigby was lookin pretty hurt to me, tossing around chairs and stuff and he was fighting beast in an ALLEY WAY not hotel. Don't come ragin at me, the one who didnt cover their tracks good enough is TT.
Nope, still ridiculous. The game is a prequel to the comics and Snow is one of the main characters in the comics. Anyone who is familiar wit… moreh the Fables series knew she wouldn't die, especially since the Fable series established she is near immortal.
It would have also been sexist to kill off one of the main female characters in the Fable series.
In any case, you were dead wrong about there being a change. It's pretty obvious that the dead "Snow" was always going to be a glamoured Lily.
i never said it should be permanent, what im sayin is the ending of episode 1 (the thing that got me invested into the series in the first place) just got tossed out of the window on a whim. WTF MAN.! i was on it i started tellin my brother to put the comics on hold at the library cuz of that shit, then you tell me "oh naw everything cool i was chillin" -_- fuck that.
The guy is a prequel to the Fables comics and Snow White is alive in the Fables series. so obviously she was never suppose to be dead. Every… moreone who was familiar with the Fable series could tell you that her death was never going to be permanent, especially since this game is in continuity with the comics.
Actually, because this is before comics is exactly why killing her would be impossible. Oh and their story being popular doesn't mean they can be revived, it means they are nearly impossible to kill.
It wasn't pointless, because she was never dead. It was Lily the whole time. The point of the cliffhanger was to fool people into thinking she was dead. Or at least fool the people that had never read the comics.
Look Mikejames has the perfect summary for what i've been tryin to say. If they were just gonna bring her back then they should at least have had a meatier explanation for why bigby and some of Fabletown thought she was dead for that whole time.
Look what i mean when i say that its a great story it this. I already liked the game since the demo i played, it was amazing to see fairy tale characters become so dark but when they made Snow appear dead they took me across a bridge i NEVER SAW COMING. now while im tryin to figure out where it goes they release that lack luster beginning to episode 2 and now i feel like they burned that bridge i was on. Why put the thought in my mind if it was a lie from the beginning? i've never heard of fable until this game and y'all was showing me shock after shock with beautiful story telling, Listen to this, this is what i saw. The game starts with him talkin to a girl thats a fable i think shit bouta happen between them then her HEAD is LAYIN on top of the STEPS to this nigga place of business. omg thats crazy. Then after a couple of other twist the lady i thought was gone be there with him until the end (cuz like the other girl i think shit bouta happen between them) but NO the episode ends with him walkin BACK to the SAME place of business NO TROUNLE IS CROSSING MY MIND then all you see is cop cars and hear sirens in front of his place with the boys in blue tryin hold back, but he breaks thorough to find HIs girk, Snow White, head layin in a puddle of her own blood...poetic if i ever saw it. Then the next episode she say hey like she just went to go take a shit. -_-
I am not saying that I don't want a main female character in the game. I am saying how I would have played if I kept believing that Snow was dead. I have read the comics so I knew that Snow is going be alive again one way or another. The way they did it was quite smart. It never occurred to me that it might be another fable glamoured to look like Snow.
So you don't want any female characters in the game? Keeping Snow gone would be a terrible idea, especially since she's one of the most impo… morertant Fables. Hell, this game is set to show us how she too Crane's job and became the deputy mayor that she is in the comics, which means she has to be alive.
They don't revive they're just very hard to kill, for example, Goldilocks in the comics takes a hand-axe to the back of the head, gets beaten over the head with a cane, falls off a cliff and still gets up, before being hit by a big rig at high speeds and thrown into a river.
Fables revive if their story is still popular, she could have died then came back since this game is BEFORE the comics, chill out. And how i… mores it cliche? While others who are so popular that they are inherently part of human culture such as Goldilocks or Snow White can survive almost anything including multiple consecutive fatal wounds which they recover from through accelerated healing, or even total mutilation were they can appear whole again elsewhere.

She can't stay dead since this game is in continuity with the comics. Every fan of Fables knew she wasn't really dead, so it was better that they didn't drag it out. Especially since there aren't that many female characters in the game.
Her gender's irrelevant to her reveal. I don't think that bringing her back in itself is bad for the story, it just felt a tad abrupt considering the way that the plot point was set up in the prior episode.
Have one of the leading ladies gone longer? That would have been extremely sexist, especially since there aren't that many other female characters in the game yet.
She was never even dead in the first place so I don't know why you're saying she should "Stay dead" it was obvious she was alive in some form. Granted, I didn't expect it to be a glamour of a troll, but I had a doubt that Snow was dead (and I still have doubts of Faith even being dead).
Telltale actually had to rewrite all of episode 2. I thought I heard that a bunch of people figured out the plot, but I'm not exactly sure what happened. That's why there was a huge time gap between episodes 1 and 2. So no, a lot of the scenes in the trailer at the end of episode 1 didn't actually happen for that purpose.
My guy have you ever heard of convience? They could have done plenty of things. Come on now dude are you tellin me that the ending of episod… moree one and the trailer the follows matches up perfectly with episode two? I don't mean to say she should have stayed dead anymore, but like one of the comments on this discussion said (by Mikejames) they should have explained it in a much "beefer" way. They just walk get on to the scene like its another Saturday morning after leaving an amazing cliff hanger like that, I'm not a fable specialist, I only know what I've seen and I feel like what I said in episode two was bullshit. Do you see where I'm comin from.?
She was never even dead in the first place so I don't know why you're saying she should "Stay dead" it was obvious she was alive in some for… morem. Granted, I didn't expect it to be a glamour of a troll, but I had a doubt that Snow was dead (and I still have doubts of Faith even being dead).

They don't "Reapear elsewhere", in the issue where Snow gets shot in the forehead (Definite fatal wound if she were not so popular), she was in the Fabletown wing at the hospital for 6 weeks. Her brain grew back, basically. But it took literal YEARS of recovery because she had next to none for her equilibrium. It took until the cubs (Her children) were about 5 years old for her to be able to walk without a cane (And even then, she was still tired after walking for a short while, and gets dizzy spells.) They never fully recover, I don't think. But it's obvous they can survive a ton. It took an ax to the head, falling down a cliff, getting hit by a truck, falling down more cliff and into a rushing river to almost kill Goldie Locks. Yeah, I say almost because if you read the spin-off issues (Jack of Fables, Fairest), you'll see that she DID survive. She does eventually die, in the special 130 or so page edition of Fairest, which is a story for another day. So yeah.

Well... No, because The Wolf Among Us is canon and it's a prequel and Snow is alive in Fables.
So it would have been impossible to have kept her dead unless Telltale wanted to decide to go non-canon all of a sudden.
"SHE'S A TROLL?!"
lol
Ya he smokes a lot but like dirtyslimyhairy said, the whole game would have ended in episode 1 if they followed bigby comic powers.
Dude aint nobody thinkin about gender, this is all for the sake of story telling. dude chill its called an assumption, cliffhangers are meant to draw speculation and their cliffhanger happened to be about Crane.
OMG once again Fables revive if their story is popular. There are other female characters guy.

No it means both, so yes, its not impossible to believe she could have died then came back.
So you sayin this game is for people that read the comics?

Getting ripped to piece and appearing somewhere else sounds like revival to me.
I know that. I'm only saying Bigby's decisions would've weighed a lot more if he thought she were dead.
Her gender's irrelevant to her reveal. I don't think that bringing her back in itself is bad for the story, it just felt a tad abrupt considering the way that the plot point was set up in the prior episode.
