The Curious Case of Grendel

edited April 2014 in The Wolf Among Us

So, in Episode 1 I tore his arm off...

...And he has never mentioned it since. The most I got was "Can I expect the same treatment?" from the Woodsman right afterwards. Despite that, this is never brought up once. I don't even think in Episode 1 nor 2 that he brings up that I took it off, nor anybody else.

That's a bit bizarre isn't it?

Gren has a beastly nature. I think he respects Bigby more after this fight and think of losing his arm as the price to pay for thinking he could take him. I think so. Then, there's also his Fable story, so... I don't know.

  • Yeah, I mean it's kinda a weird thing. In Beowulf, Gren gets his arm torn off yet he eventually had two arms again. So.... it's a minor setback for him?

  • Actually, if you look at his arm in Episode 1 while he's in his true form, you can see that his right arm has a large scar at the joint, where he presumably had it grafted back on somehow after his fight with Beowulf.

  • It's still weird. Because Beowulf tore his arm off after fighting Grendel's mother if I remember correctly. Beowulf took it as a trophy, so how would Gren have gotten his arm back?
