Episode 3: A Whiny Mile
Episode two just went to 11 on the melodramatic scale. The moral of the story is supposed to be about self-control and keeping a cool head, but most of the replies lack an option for it and, despite what the game tells you, silence ISN'T an option because you're going to be act like an asshole regardless of choosing it or not.
For example, I didn't like the way Bigby and Snow treated Crane. Sure, he's a creep and a jerk, but that doesn't give Bigby the right to treat him like he's a serial killer, especially after finding out that Faith had taken a photo of Crane having sex with her while glamoured as Snow and using it as blackmail material. Though, Bigby is practically retarded and didn't come up to this conclusion when he was checking Faith and Crane's files. When I chose the option to tell Crane to "Get up", I was expecting a half-embarassed, half-disgusted suggestion to man up, not growl like a whacko to "git the fffuuck up".
Snow's angry tantrums feel out of place. In the second episode she's telling me that interogating an accomplice in a murder and stopping the guy that wanted to beat the crap out of him is over the line, but now, in episode three, she's telling me to burn the private property of a witch that could actually help Fabletown provide more glamours.
The ending was just ridiculous and poorly directed. Bloody Mary is bland. The fight scene is ridiculous because at the beginning Bigby's taken down by a single shot to the shoulder, but now he's practically a walking hunk of lead. Also, what was stopping Bloody Mary from just shooting Snow and take Crane by force? Why does she need to be told by the Crooked Man that she can take him? Snow having any say in this is just ridiculous.
The main characters are becoming increasingly corny and irrational. I personally would've loved to see more characters like Gren, Holly and Georgie.
This is my opinion after one playthrough. I'm tired and english isn't my first language, so excuse me if my broken grammar makes you cringe. :P

I'll agree to disagree with most of what you've said.
Am Sorry but I can't take this thread serious.
OK, rather than simply say "you're wrong" or whatever, let me try and have a look at the points you make.
Bigby and Snow treat Crane like crap because they think he's a complete piece of shit. Which he is, pretty much. Dude's obsessed with Snow, which obviously squicks her out to no end, and since Bigby's close to Snow, he's not very happy about it/him either. On top of this, Crane's been misusing Fabletown funds for his own ends and blatantly not taking care of the citizens in his care (read the letters on his desk), so... yeah. He's not a good person.
Snow's tantrums are because she's getting too emotionally connected with the case. Finding out someone makes women look like you and then has sex with them is going to fuck with your head BIG time, and her actions are clearly a reflection of this. Would a calm, clear-headed Snow have ordered Bigby to burn the tree? No, probably not. But Snow's getting pretty unhinged by everything that's going on and her own personal connection to things, and that's leading her to say/do some pretty out-of-character things.
Also, the witch clearly has no interest in joining up with 'Floor 13' or whatever it was called. She makes this point very clear if you get Bigby to say she could work for the Fabletown 'government', for lack of a better word. So... there's that.
Bloody Mary is a little silly, yeah. But hey, she gets the job done, so who cares how she looks? And as for Bigby taking multiple shots... well, yeah, when he's human he can only take punishment like a human - especially to his already damaged shoulder. But as the Big Bad Wolf, he's clearly a lot stronger and tougher. Big Bad Wolves usually are.
Finally, it should be obvious that Bloody Mary is clearly just a pawn in this. She's working for the Crooked Man (she even says it's a job she enjoys doing), so naturally she'd listen to the boss and do what he says. The reason she doesn't shoot Snow and just take Crane is because she doesn't NEED to - Bigby's down by this point (even out after she breaks his arm) and Snow's hardly gonna stop her at this point, so what would be the point in attacking her? She's had her fun, and now it's time to do the job she came here to do - grab Crane for the Crooked Man.
Don't worry about your English - I've seen far worse from people who speak it naturally.
I cringed when Bloody Mary didn't chop Bigby's head off just because Snow told her to. It's obvious that Telltale wanted to make Snow a more "powerful" character, but this shouldn't have been the way to do it. I feel that a truly strong Snow character would be one that would find Crane's ambivalent feelings towards her just disgusting and weird, not something that evokes hostility. Crane's to be pittied, not verbally and physically assaulted.
What I'm really disappointed about is the fact that the "bad" guys are portrayed in a black and white manner. Bluebeard's a scheming, power-hungry asshole. Crane is a pathological narcissist and a pervert. Bloody Mary is a murderous psycho.
It was the crooked man who said Bloody Mary should not chop off bigby's head not snow.
Truth be told, Bluebeard is a scheming power-hungry asshole. Still i´d say there is other sides of him aswell, he has some sad sense of "gentlemanism" around him, this however is more appearant in the comic than in the game.
I dont really get your point around Bloody Mary, there is no real need for her to either kill Snow nor Bigby.
However i have to agree with you on some of the dialogue options. Id rather go for more pitifulness towards Crane rather than the "Im going to rip your head off" - manner. And again, i cant really understand why we didnt get a no suspect-comment for Crane either since i havent held him as a suspect at all (for the murders atleast).
All in all i liked the episode alot and i really enjoy the swift turns even though i might not fully agree with some of the dialogue.
I have to admit this game has some problem with consistency of characters or story line..I think it is because of tight schedules or there might be some arguing between team members in telltales(purely just assumption)
But ep3 is still GREAT.
it's enough for me.
The things you stated, about Bigby and Snow behaving irrationally, make sense from a neutral perspective- that of a passive observer, who can make objective decisions. But you have to understand, Bigby and Snow are not the player- regardless of how emotionally invested you get in the story, it is unlikely that you are as emotionally affected as the characters themselves. However, from their point of view, the hot headed decisions and dialogues can and do make sense. Snow's case is apparent- obviously a woman is not gonna feel great about being the victim of sexual herassment, even if it's technically indirect. I don't expect her to be kind to Crane. Actually, I thought she was rather level-headed, given the circumstances. Burning the tree is a little over the top, but then again, they do give you the option to stop her. And Bigby? Bigby's in love with Snow and he's as alpha male as they come. You think a guy like that is gonna be calm and level headed when he comes face to face with the creepy stalker who's been sexually herassing his romance interest? Even the most timid options would have to have some aggression in them, and they did. Plus, the way I see it, Bigby is by his very nature, aggressive, and tries his best to control himself, but this episode presented him with situation after situation where it takes more willpower than he can muster to control himself.
Bloody Mary didn't kill Bigby just because Snow told her not to. She didn't kill him because Snow gave her and the Crooked Man what they had wanted all along.
I'm sorry, but Snow's tantrums kinda do make sense. I have read the comics, so I guess you could say I know her antics pretty well. Now, I am disapointed that Bigby hasn't been able to pick up on smaller evidence. The comics suggest he's a lot better at it than he is so far in the game. For example, he'd know the photos were not taken by Crane (At least the last one.) and that he was being in the least bit, framed. It wouldn't make sense for him to leave so much evidence behind.
You're telling me you wouldn't be pissed? sometimes playing nice isn't an option.
