Ep. 3 made up for Ep. 2
I just finished A Crooked Mile and I thought it was an absolute heart-pumping thrill-ride. Although I thought episode 2 was hastily done, I thoroughly enjoyed the latest installment and feel like it really redeemed the series for me.
Although it is pretty hard waiting several weeks and then jumping right back into the climax of the last episode, I was pretty much completely immersed by the funeral scene. I let Snow finish her piece about Lily and then the brother's showed up... During the QTE I quickly chose to keep attacking Dee and Dum(?) ended up shooting Gren. I was truly frustrated and almost chose to rewind... Its just amazing yet heart-wrenching when Telltale can do that to you.
And then the episode progressed and was only interrupted by slower scenes only once or twice. By the time I found Crane I slapped him silly and then still had the fury to break his nose. By the time we were in the alley and the brothers were open firing upon me, I was absolutely done with those fucks. Tore Dee's throat out by the time he could blurt out, "Fuck you, Wolf". No regrets on my end, those creepy bastards were willing to crash a funeral with shotguns and shoot me yet again.
I felt like the last episode was rushed and somewhat mismatched, but the quality I grew to know TTG for returned with this episode. What are your thoughts? How did this episode pan out for you?
It was a crooked mile, but a damn fun crooked mile.

Yeah, great episode. My favorite at the moment actually. I liked the first episode of TWAUS very much then the TWD ep.2 came out and it surpassed it for me but then TWAUS ep. 3 demolished everything. That showdown at end alone is enough reason for me to put it as my favorite.
Yeah, i realised that in Telltale's series the season ALWAYS has a ''black sheep'', there's always that episode that wasn't as good as the last one.
Episode 3 was amazing, that showdown at the end was epic as hell, it felt like an action game for a couple of minutes. This was the first episode where i decided to finally let myself go and be the big bad wolf.
Lets hope Telltale can keep up the pace with the next episode like they did with this one.
Completely agree. Unlike after I finished Episode 2, I am very much looking forward to the next Episode now.
So far the best episode of both series! That ending man...Shit hit the fan and I was loving every minute of it!
I didnt have any problems with episode 2, I quite enjoyed it (am I in the minority) but I am glad to hear that episode 3 is so good. It sounds very promising. Hopefully, I will get to play tonight.
I'd rate the episodes in this order from best to not so awesome.. episode 3,1,2. I think all of them were really good though.
I loved this episode, just finished it moments ago. I can say I like The Wolf Among Us more than The Walking Dead. I feel like it has that impredictability that lacks in the walking dead games once you figure out how the system works.
Now hate me with all your heart if you want
Can't hate you... I agree with your comment.
Well, I certainly cant wait to play it. Im rereading the series too. Im so glad Telltale took Fables on as a project.
I greatly enjoyed Episode 3. I think it is currently my favorite episode of The Wolf Among Us. I really like the ending, it was thrilling and badass to see Bigby transformed with red eyes.
I'm also glad Telltale took on Fables. I just finished playing. I found out that a lot of people either played it on the PC or checked the spoilers. The only hint I would give is listen to Snow.
Apparently he can transform with yellow eyes. I don't quite get how to trigger it thou
