What would you rate Episode 3
I personally thought the episode was the best one so far.
There was great story progression and choices that made you think about what might happen next.
There were unexpected twists and a ending that made you wonder what would happen next.
The length of the episode could have been longer however.
Overall, I give it a 8.5 or 9 out of 10

I'm gonna go for it and give it a 10/10. The choices were hard, the ending was badass and the episode felt longer then it really was to me.
I'm going with 9/10. Nearly perfect from start to finish, and I have yet to go back and try the alternate paths while investigating.
10/10
6/10 because it was too short
10/10. It could have been longer, but I only say that because I didn't want it to end. It really didn't feel short. It had more decisions that were lacking episode 2.
Really dude is this really how were going to do this.
Solid 9/10.
100 out of 10.
8/10.
This is definitely a 9/10 for me, due to the amount of content you get to dig into, the exoneration of Crane, some interesting new characters (hail Mary!) and a very cool (i.e. well directed) ending that really maintains interest, not that that's hard to do with such a well developed story. The reason I'm docking a point is because nothing's perfect, but this is damn close.
9/10, I guess. I am NOT good with numerical scores. I normally wait a couple of weeks before giving my (less) unbiased opinions on an episode, but I've decided to write my very strong first impressions now, for a change. Let's see how they hold up to the scrutiny of time.
Here's the thing, it is short, yes, but there is replay value, dat ending was awesome, and -if you've seen my posts on TWD forum- you'll know that I bitch a lot about the lack of "meat" I have been perceiving in these latest episodes. Look at my avatar for a quick sum-up of my thoughts. BUT, I like what they are doing, I really, really do. It might have been relatively short, but as the IGN review said: "Bigby makes every minute of his 90 minute adventure count".
Do I wish they were longer, or had "hubs"? Well, yeah I still do in a sense, but after today, I think Telltale's slowly building a good balance of interactivity in some areas and the pacing of the story itself and that of how the characters develop. A couples of examples that come to mind are the scenes with Flycatcher and Holly. The more you interact with the environment itself -with a goal in mind to accomplish- the more these characters let out little snippets between clicks. It feels organic, the flow in those investigation scenes.
Let us see how they approach In Harm's Way, though. Although I do believe they are finding their "mojo", I also think it is important to remember that they are working on two thematically different series right now, and things that may work in Wolf might not be that great in Walking Dead.
Back on topic and to sum this up, I conclude this episode; not with a sour taste in my mouth or a sense of disappointment, but rather impressed and satisfied. It wasn't perfect, and as always, we will find things to nitpick about, but for now? GG and congratulations. Bring on Ep4, I want to give Bloody Mary a reason to cry wolf.
9.8/10. It was the best episode of the series so far, but I had to reload more than once because Telltale made some of those 'points of no return' when exploring where even if you haven't examined everything yet, it progresses anyway.
Ending was up there with Lee cutting through the horde as the most ridiculously awesome moment in a Telltale game doe.
9/10. A 10/10 would be achieved with a longer story and maybe more fighting with Bigby fully transformed, which was the most epic part of Ep 3.
7.8/10.
10/10 Will play again. Only problem I had was that I didn't get to talk to flycatcher in my playthrough.
10/10 The fight with dee and dum was the best thing Telltale has ever made
7/10
For some reason I felt like most of this episode was on a fast forward button. The whole presentation seemed kind of a lower quality, rushed. Several times I noticed jerking in the animations (like with the brothers' shotguns) and kinda moving abnormally fast.
One thing I really hated was the fact that you can easily miss a lot of stuff if you hit the trigger that progresses the story. It only further decreases the unacceptable short length of recent Telltale episodes.
In contrast to TWD S2 I liked that it was less linear, though I would like to see more adventure-game-like puzzles in the future, this is a detective mystery after all.
I was going more for a 6 but the final scene was really awesome.
I think about an 8 or 9 out of 10.
That ending tho.
9/10, my only complaint is that Bigby is way too convinced it was Crane, even by the end when it clearly isn't him he still insists he murdered them against all evidence to the contrary, Snow has to step in actually to convince him.
Way better than the second one plus it had a lot of iteresting choices. 10/10 and damn Bloody Mary is hot, just saying
I've lost interest in this game, I don't know why either it's weird for me to say this? I liked the first episode but I dunno, I must like TWD too much to like this game too.
10/10 for me I absolutely loved it, it more than made up for the disappointment of ep2. The wolf fight with the brothers, the introduction of Bloody Mary who seems totally badass, the way the story progressed beautifully & the pigs back for the next ep! (I actually really missed him did anyone else lol?) loved everything about it can't wait for the next episode
I give it 5 Bufkin's out of 6, 7 out of 8 Flycatcher's, and 9 Bloody Mary's out of 99 Luftballoons!
Amazing!
9.6/10 i know thats a strange number but i did because my most favorite telltale episode ever was wlaking dead season 1 episode 2 which i gave a 9.5 and this is just a bit better.I didnt feel like it was short i felt like it had quite a nice lenght unlike episode 2 . Episode 1 was great episode 2 was dissapointing but episode 3 is just soooo good hard choices that left me thinking and pausing the game to think and when i killed dum i was in wolf mode and i wasnt even thinking i was so involved in the story that i didnt even think of what i had done until after i killed him and that takes some skilz from the devz to pull of . Also the 0.4 i took away is because there is very little exploration you cant even rub the lamp that was the only thing i was looking forward to in episode 3 to be honest ( due to episode 2 being dissapointing). Also that final scene was amazing man bloody mary is fucking awesome looks like they finaly discovered how to make good villains first with carver (walking dead) and now with bloody mary in TWAU and the crooked man seems amazing . Even the dee and dum brothers seemed interesting despite me not liking them in previous episodes. All the new characters were amazing . Flycatcher was intriguing when we were in the basement with him i tought he was gonna turn on me for some reason.
P.S : also did you guys find any nudity ? Besides bigby body there wasnt anything and i dont think that is enough reason for the game to have been rated with partial nudity.
yeah really missed the pigs and toad
bloody mary being hot is debatable
what kind of stuff can you miss ?
I'm talking about objects you can investigate. For example, every item on Crane's desk can be skipped if you open the drawer first which triggers Bluebeard coming in. Also you can actually go to all 3 places if the second place you go to is where Bluebeard went, but a lot of people miss this.
11/10 would wait twice
You can't like both? You have pretty strange logic if that's the case, no offence.
9/10 for me, the final scene was pretty brilliant. And we finally got (to me at least) felt like a longer episode than usual. We even got more areas to walk around in if you decide to go to Crane's. It's a very, very strong third episode and (probably) my favourite episode of TWAU to date. Let's hope the final two chapters live up to this.
According to my trophy collection A Crooked Mile was the longest episode being 109 minutes long.
Definitely a dramatic episode! The plot itself is intense and exciting. This time the story is more action-packed with more QTEs. I kinda like the free decisions you can make to decide where to go during the episodes. With more and more secrets unveiled, bit by bit the true murderer is gonna be revealed real soon. What kind of a conspiracy is this? I really wanna know!!! Btw, this is surely 10 out of 10!!
I don't want to rate it as such (simply out of 10), but I will say that it lost points for me due to Bigby's hamfisted handling of the situation with Mary. One of the differences between this Bigby and the one in the comics, is that Bigby in the comics seems more intelligent. According to the lore, in the homelands Bigby was a brilliant tactician and destroyed whole armies by himself. I did really enjoy the episode though, and I'm very happy that telltale is making these wonderful games (I hope they make a season two for TWAU) .
To clarify I'm not saying that Bigs should have just taken Mary out right away, that would not have fit the situation. However, I think that Bigby should not have been so oblivious to Mary. I don't think it is all that 'realistic' that Mary got away without so much as a scratch; the conclusion-at least in my opinion- does not seem to match the capabilities of Bigby.
Anyway, the episode itself was without any hiccups (as far as I can tell). It did feel short but I'm going to of course play it again to get more out of it.
This has got to of been the longest episode...
Well its probably first time he deals with this kind of a situation, remember how he said there hasn't been a murder in Fabletown for a very long time? But I really hated how he was arguing with Snow at the end about Crane and there was no dialogue option with - I agree this is not Cranes mo, someone else killed those women.
It is to my knowledge that The Big Bad Wolf is supposed to be a master tactician. If a great general ex. such as Scipio Africanus (the Roman general who defeated Hannibal Barca at Zama) came out to fight after many years of not doing so-and just leaves a whole flank exposed sort of like Bigby did (he just left Mary there, and decided to stare at Snow lol), it would not suit his character. One would be inclined to think that there is something else going on other than he has not fought in a long time. Also, the comment "there hasn't been a murder in Fabletown for a very long time..." implies that Bigby has dealt with a murder case before just a long time ago (hence not his first). Furthermore, solving murder cases seems to be a separate issue (red herring) than 'why did Bigby not do anything about the crazy lady with the gun?'.
