Snow gives me headache.

She always wears strict solemn face that i don't understand...she is nice to other fables but kinda mean to Bigby. What the hell did Bigby ever do to her? except worrying and caring about her?

Is she afraid Bigby might turn out to be a trash like the man who betrayed her?
Or is she afraid Bigby is still a Big Bad Wolf who didn't show his real face yet?

i know she is upset because of all the attempted murder and Crane things, but, can she give Bigby some slack.

  • Do you want her to smile at Bigby every chance she has? Do you expect her to be nice and kind and smiling to him if you have him refuse her and undermine her suggestions? I don't do that stuff and she's civil to Bigby, hell, throughout the first episode you can see her demeanor and feeling change for Bigby if you're nice. So you must be doing something wrong, or expecting too much from her.

Some people are not so caring about guys who rips people's arms off and kills chubby people.

  • even if you don't do those things she acts the same lol

  • She seemed to treat my character pretty nice until I refused to burn down that tree. She gave me compliment for how i dealt with the funeral as well.
It might be some other more subtle choice that affected it or even something you did in previous episodes.

  • What boxman said. I could understand well why Snow acts the way she does - she's just that kind of person, meaning cold (snow-cold even), steady, and pragmatic. Hell, in the first episode, Bigby called her a "disciplinarian." And for my case, I did a whole bunch of mean-spirited stuff she, nor most people, would be very approving of.

  • People tend to not be super friendly when people are being decapitated and their heads are being dumped on their porch

  • I think rose red puts it best, snow is too used to princes and fairy tale castles. She thinks she's better than bigby and so acts that way. But she's also slightly mean to bigby because in a way he is a bit of an ass, but she does also like him. After all it was him who saved her life in the homelands. She's unsure of her feelings and to be fair bigby was the big bad wolf for years, he probably ate some of her friends.

    People who didn't read fable comics don't know about this at all, I think telltales should explain about characters' relationship and history at least a bit. Telltales can insert related information in small talks or books, clues,...I hope;
    Thx for the explanation.

  • Yeah i thought that they might of done that in episode one, with the big book of fables. Let you choose whether or not you wanted to read through their back stories or not. But guess they couldn't be bothered. Anyway happy to help

  • Oh, I thought the books are just simple description about characters, I've read it in ep1, and didn't find anymore than basic info so I didn't read that books anymore.

  • I quite like Snow but I didn't like her whole I'm your boss attitude in this one. I ended up not burning the tree because she said she was Bigby's boss not partner and then giving me an order. She got kind of uppity I think

  • I think she's just judging him cause of his past/attitude.

  • Shes been really nice to my Bigby, your Bigby obviously lacks charisma.

  • Eh....her relationship with him is hard to decipher completely, even after reading all the comics. Have you ever heard the expression,"You hurt the ones you love the most"? It's kinda like that. She tries to deny to herself that she likes him, and he tries to keep his attraction secret even though its obvious to most Fables. He's never been naturally nice to anyone, and I'm sure after working together for about, I dunno, 300 years or so, it gets tedious trying to do things when the Big Bad Wolf has an agenda of his own. I know you can choose a nicer path with Bigby, more empathetic I suppose, but if you were to use his real personality, he's more of,"I keep my feelings to myself and I'm always grumpy" kinda attitude. Even toward Snow. So I think in that respect, it gets a little blurry and they haven't altered Snow's responses to your choices as much as they should've. You also have to look at her own past, it doesn't specifically highlight it in game, but I suppose you can assume her years with the Dwarves were not as kind as Disney makes it seem.

  • I think you may be overestimating their relationship.

She shows she cares sometimes, but nothing exceptional that she wouldn't say to anyone or about anyone else. Maybe the last scene of episode 3 was something more, but we won't know until episode 4.

Bigby is friendzoned at best, she has no idea what he's thinking about. Hell, Crane was obsessed for years and she never got a clue.

  • I guess I screwed up at the funeral. I got there, she was talking. So I was silent and went to talk to Prince Lawrence. When I was done with that, I looked and saw that she was standing there saying nothing. So I told her we needed to leave. And interrupted the funeral.
