Question about murder? (Spoilers)
I was curious to know a couple of things:
- At this point, will we ever discover Faith's body? considering it was TJ who found Lily, if it were not for him would you be at this point? Would finding her body give us anymore clues?
- If it does end up being Mr. Horseman, whether actual or someone disguised as him, would you be disappointed if he was your first thought/guess? The interest in Crane and Crane having the statute makes me think more and more like this would be the case.
- Considering the business office is in the luxury apartments, whom do you think the message is being sent to? Since Bigby is the last non-puddin & pie fable to see her alive (supposedly) we may have automatically thought the message was sent to him. But was it sent to the B.O. as a whole or what?
These are some things that came into my mind this morning and thought I was not totally sure what the answers were.

I remember in the original preview for Episode 2 if you saved Lawrence, it has Lawrence looking like he just vomited, asking Bigby "Where's the rest of her?" I remember it being somewhere outside (which would be an odd place to be viewing her decapitated head) so maybe they found the rest of the body. After all, it's no secret that Telltale changed the story in some way or another. We also were never told Swineheart's test results on Faith's head.
At the moment it's looking like it's all to do with Crane's debts to the Crooked Man. Maybe the Crooked Man had Faith killed (via Bloody Mary?) to send a message to Crane? She was his original prostitute iirc - didn't Lily switch shifts with her that one time? If the message was for Crane, that would explain why the head was sent to the Woodlands. Maybe Lily was killed to send the same message, or maybe she was killed first, with the killer mistakenly thinking it was Faith under the glamour.
We know that the Crooked Man is some kind of loan shark guy, and that a bunch of people are likely in debt to him (include Beauty and Crane). We also know that Georgie answers to him (explaining his complete lack of co-operation) and so do the Tweedles (explaining their interest in the various cases).
There's probably (hopefully) more to it though, and more twists to come
Questions:
Faith could not have switched her shift with Lilly to avoid being murdered (unless she is actually alive) because if I get the chronology right she was killed one night before Lilly. Also the note that Lilly left for Faith at the Pudding n' Pie might have referred to Faith covering for her and going to the Woodsman who was Lilly's regular client. Anyways, the Woodsman might have an important role yet to play in the story, after all I guess it was his axe that Bloody Mary wanted to use to decapitate Bigby.
No it's actually a girl named Charlotte. There was someone looking through files and it said Charlotte dead / Prince Lawrence or something like that.
To answer to your question n°2, I am strongly convinced that the murderer is Bloody Mary herself, who killed using the Woodsman's axe.
If you notice, the murders start just after the woodsman loses his axe after the fight with bigby, and Bigby himself told that to cut a Fable's head off the murderer would've needed something very sharp or something with magic attached to it.
Woodsman's axe is either very sharp and has magic attached o it.
Apart from this, no. I think the headless horseman has nothing to do about it. In the original tlae he desn't even really exist, it's just a joke made on Crane by a rival of him
Oh yes, that's right. Faith switched to take Lily's place with the Woodsman, not so that Lily could take Faith's place with Crane. I felt sure I was getting something mixed up there - that was it.
I also meant to add to my questions list "- How did Mary get the Woodsman's axe?" but by the time I got there I'd forgotten it again. Hence adding a bunch of dumb questions while I tried desperately to remember. I failed.
I'll paste here the answer i gave to this same question on another thread
"
I have the theory that she retrieved it after Bigby and Woody's fight at the beginning of episode 1. At the end you see Bigby pull the axe out of the woodsman's head and throw it on the sidewalk. Later you see the woodsman ran away but the sidewalk isn't showed so you can't see the axe on the ground.
Later, in Crane's office, if you ask the mirror you can see the Woodsman walking in an alley half drunk, without the axe.
My guess is that the axe was left on the sidewalk after the fight and Bloody Mary (or one of the tweedles) came over and took it from the ground or maybe from Toad (who is known for stealing stuff from neighbours as we learn in episode 2)
My other guess is that the Woodsman lost his axe in the period we can't see between the fight and the moment we see him trough the mirror, and Mary found it.
Anyway, it's clear now that Bloody mary killed both Faith and Lily using the Woodsman's axe. Bigby himself said that to cut Faith's head of like that there would've needed something very sharp or something with magic attached to it. Woody's axe had both, how convenient."
There is one more thing that keeps me wondering. Why did Crane, once he'd got the Ring of Dispel, go straight to Pudding n' Pie? Obviously because he hoped that he could prove his innocence. But this means that either Nerissa was with him on the night of murder (or both murders) or, what is much more probable given his behavior, she has the information necessary to identify the killer (he says that she knows what the plan is).
Crane having the statute in his apt is strange. The Axe is weird though. If stealing the Axe was the sole purpose to killing Faith it does not make sense. The decision to kill her had to be made beforehand. If it were because she was seen talking to Bigby, then why did not they kill him/Snow when they had the chance..? Plus why would BM be tracking down Faith? I can't draw any definitive conclusions, but the idea of the horseman is a theme, especially if the heads were placed as a message to Crane.
