Just got done listening to this over on youtube. Love this song, but still haven't played the episode yet! :(

Bump. New music, which means hopefully more posts here.

  • God, I'm so in love with this piece of music right now! Seriously, when I heard it in the game I just wanted to put down the controller and close my eyes. Of course, there's too much action going on for that. :) Wonderful stuff.

  • Yeah, this music was so beautiful while Bigby was walking through the shotgun shots. :)

And, just damn, the hype when the transformation was complete and we were given control!

  • This one is definitely the best, it's got neon signs and sheriff written all over it. Every time I kick up a new episode of The Wolf Among Us and I hear this one? Instant hype. I'm probably going to make it my ringtone, lol.

God, I hope Telltale will release official soundtrack like they did with The Walking Dead S1. If only TWAU fanbase was bigger I bet they would do that. I think they already announced that TWD S2 Soundtrack will be released after season concludes, right? I'm afraid they might not do it for TWAU. For now, I still have some hope, not too much though. I guess we're lucky that people like Maximus exist and do their best to provide us with this awesome music. Thanks for your work, I really appreciate it.

Coming back to EP3 soundtrack, I definitely agree that ending scene music is great, but I also love the track that plays when you're searching through Crane's apartment. If I'm not mistaken, it's this piece:

Yes, that is a marvelous piece of music as well! One of my absolute favorites from Ep 3.

I really liked the music that played when the Tweedles appeared at the funeral with shotguns, it built the tension up nicely:

The official soundtrack would be awesome, fully agree with you on that one.

  • Now, that's what I call a real bluesy, bar number.

Since nobody posted this yet: This is actually playing at the trip trap, I've picked this video since the quality is a little bit better. Don't let the title mislead you.

  • This is very useful information shared here. I am really thankful for this.

Something about this one gives me goosebumps..it's subtle use of instruments is very nice to listen to.

You beat me to it! This was such an epic moment accompanied by such epic music! This is one of the songs I know I will always keep listening for the rest of my life.

Warning: the following interpretation might take things a bit too far, but please just bear with me.

What makes this song so special for me is the fact that they could have easily gone for a dark and horror-inducing tune to perhaps depict Bigby as a straight up beast, killer, and/or monster. It would've been so easy to mark him out as a bad guy with a song like that. Yet instead the song seems hopeful for me, as if what Bigby is doing is a product of righteous anger rather than mindless murder. It resembles how he was pushed into this situation and how he's fighting back because he has to. I think it captures Bigby's personality so well. Knowing he's a beast deep inside him with a really dark past, but then trying to do the right thing when the temptation to go wild and murderous is there. Especially in that specific moment.

    SPOILERS!

Though it's true that players can have Bigby kill one of the tweedles, I still think that one could view that as a product of Bigby's inner struggles. He has been taking so much shit from the dums that he finally just snapped, and for a moment he went back to his darker days.

Bump. New music, which means hopefully more posts here.

  • Inspiring, mystifying, beautiful, no words can express this jaw dropping piece of art. Well done TellTale.
