Glamours (Toad, Junior & Colin)

I've been wondering about this for a while and I didn't see any thread on it so I thought I'd start one,

Toad. Toad Jr. Colin. are all meant to have glamours but we never see them so what do you think they would look like in their "human" form? Is that ever revealed in the comics? (Haven't read them so wouldn't know if they play any part in the comics or not)
And what about Bufkin? He's animal too so shouldn't he have a glamour? xD

Any artists among us, I'd love to see your interpretation of what they could look like. The possibilities at this stage are endless afterall.

  • I imagine toad will look like a typical middle aged man, partially bald, and a distended stomach

  • Bufkin doesn't have a glamour. He is how we see him all through the comics and so is Colin.

I guess Toad Jr. would be like, a scrawny-looking kid that would wear one of those... spinning propeller hats, ya know? XD

Bufkin and Colin however, it's hard to imagine a glamour even for them!

  • Ah. Good to know. Thanks. I wasn't sure if Bufkin needed a glamour but thought it was less likely with him being in the business office. However Colin (and the Toads) should technically have one (Bigby calls them out on it) hence the threats to send them to the farm.

  • Haha oh that's priceless. I can't get Toad Jr. with a spinning propeller hat out of my head now xD

  • I could see that.

Actually, I have to retract a little. There is a side story where he takes on several different forms and one of them was as a Lilliputian man, so he did have a human shape for a short while. Colin never had a glamour because he's not supposed to be off the farm, he just keeps escaping.

  • Ah interesting. That goes back to my original point about animals needing glamours then xD Good point about Colin though... still curious how he'd look with a glamour though :P

  • Plump, probably wearing a wife beater. I think the thing with animals is that glamours are so expensive, how can a pig make enough money to buy one, lol

  • I can see that. True.... but shouldn't he be working if he isn't on the farm and hiding out at Bigbys?

  • If Bufkin ever got a glamour (he doesn't need one because he stays in the business office) I could see him looking like a small-framed, grey-haired, professor type of guy. With like little spectacles, a tweed jacket, and a bow tie.

  • As far as I know, nobody at the farm works except for the ones who help run it. The farm is there to take care of them.

No one at the Farm works except Weyland Smith, Stinky (Badger), Reynard (Fox), and Mary who had a little lamb.

  • Yes. He wouldn't be complete without that. xD

  • I have no idea who the first 3 are but I wasn't implying anyone at the Farm worked (though 4 working though does sound quite a few). I meant if they cooperated and were using their glamour, then they wouldn't be sent to the farm in the first place and thus would have jobs.

This topic isn't meant to be about that though... it's about glamours. xD

  • There ain't that many glamours for one. The ones that could afford them when they didn't cost a lot weren't at the Farm at all. That explains one of Bigby's lines to Toad "It's not complicated Toad".
