Black Screen at Startup
I think I've tried all solutions I found here and re-downloaded the game three times from this site, and I still couldn't fix my problem. My game won't start, all I get is a black screen. I don't know what could be causing the problem, since I can play Wolf Among Us smoothly on my computer.

I apologize for the inconvenience. This may be a display error with the game's resolution being set too high. Please start the game again, and when you reach the black screen, use the Mac shortcut (CMD+F) to change to Windowed Mode, and then see if you are able to see the game's menu. If you are, please change/lower the graphics and resolution settings from the Options menu to a lower setting and hit Apply. You should now be able to switch back to Full Screen Mode and play the game.
Thank you! But nothing happened. I actually tried changing to Windowed Mode a lot of times before posting here, and it worked once, but then I closed it and tried opening it again to test if it was working and it didn't work anymore. So should I keep trying to do this?
My apologies, I recommend uninstalling the game, and delete any and all files associated with The Wolf Among Us. Please also make sure to clear your trash bin to completely erase the files from your computer. Then download a new installer from our website, and install the game again. If you still encounter the black screen, please try changing it to Windowed Mode by using the above shortcut, and make sure to change the graphics and resolution settings from the game's Options Menu. You should then be able to play.
Okay, I'm gonna try to do that. I can back up my saves and put them back on their folders after installing the game again, right?
I tried doing that and it still didn't work. I think I deleted everything from the games, I deleted the games themselves and everything the Telltale Games folder that was inside Application Support.
I apologize for the inconvenience. Here are a few possible solutions:
1) Try plugging headphones into the audio out jack in your computer, and then start the game.
2) Play the game with your computer disconnected from the internet.
3) If your Mac has multiple graphics cards, go to your system preference and click on ‘energy saver’. Uncheck ‘Automatic Graphics Switching’ and this will make sure your Mac is using your more powerful graphics card.
4) Verify your cache if you purchased through Steam (https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335)
5) Try playing the game with no other programs running in the background
6) Try changing the resolution of your computer to a standard 16:9 aspect ratio such as 1920x1080 or 1280x720.
Thank you so much for all the help Mike! Solution #2 worked for me!
You're welcome, I hope you are able to enjoy the game!!
