Game won't show starting screen (Mac)

After getting past the "Click anywhere to start" screen it goes to a black screen, but it's not crashed. The mouse arrow is still there, I can still move it, but there's nothing I can click on and no way to exit without manually shutting the program down with command+q.

    Hello,

Unfortunately it seems that you've uploaded the Support Tool file itself. Please download the Support Tool, and run it by double clicking it. Then after it is finished, it will output a Zip file. You can then upload that Zip file to sendspace.com and copy and paste that link into a reply to this thread, and we will be able to assist you further.

Here's the Support Tool file link: http://www.sendspace.com/file/95tr0d

  • Sorry about that, I guess I dragged the wrong thing to the upload box...here's the actual one.

After looking over your support tool information, this may be a display issue. Please start the game again, and switch the game to Windowed Mode using the Mac shortcut (Command + F). You should now be able to see the menu. Then try changing the graphics and resolution to a lower setting, and you should then be able to play in Full Screen Mode.

  • Tried it, no difference. Still just a black screen, white cursor, nothing to click on and no way to exit besides command+q.

My apologies, after looking over your system information in your support tool, it seems that your computer's graphics card is running below the minimum system requirements to run the game successfully. Where we require a minimum of 512mb of dedicated memory, your current card is running at 256mb. I recommend playing on a system above the minimum specifications, or inquiring about a refund. I apologize I could not be of more assistance.
