Save File Issue

Hey guys, I recently completed the first season of the Walking Dead but I'm having some serious problems with my saves.

A little background, I recently had a problem where (after clicking "use the cloud" button on a prompt that I didn't read to thoroughly) my saves were gone in game-- but not in the folder. I eventually fixed this by creating a new game and then overriding that file with my last saved game. It worked. However, at the after credits scene my choices were all wrong (for example it says Kenny shot Duck when I did) and when I checked the time stamp on the save it was still the same as the file I had overridden. Now, when I tried to import it into the Walking Dead Season 2 all of my choices were wrong again.

I am at a loss on how to fix this, so any help would be extremely appreciated.

    Please rename the prefs.prop files in

    C:\Users\BlindCaesar\Desktop\the walking dead

    and

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Walking Dead\Pack\default

    to prefs.prop.bak to disable them, then restart the game, and your saves should be restored.

    It's still just selecting a random decisions when I go over to season 2-- (for example: it has Clementine in the red sweatshirt which I didn't get).

    Can you please clarify if after changing the above file names, that you re-imported your Season One save files into Season Two?

    I would then try swapping the prefs.prop files that you renamed in

    C:\Users\BlindCaesar\Desktop\the walking dead

    into

    C:\Users\BlindCaesar\Documents\Telltale Games\The Walking Dead

    and switching it for the one already in there, and then see if it is able to read your choices.

    I would then swap the files back, as the first prefs.prop file was the correct one. Can you please clarify which of the other choices were being randomized for you? We have heard of a few instances of player's choices being different from their saves, such as the St. Johns brothers deaths, or whether or not Lee's arm was cut off. We believe to have fixed them, but have not heard of the Clementine's sweatshirt being the wrong one.
