Trying to play TWD Season 2 -- New game/Save issues

Im trying to play the game on my laptop and whenever i try to make a new game or even rewind it says that i need to clikc where i would like to save and freezes but i can see a bit of the previous saves on the right but i cant scroll or move to em.

and i cant move around or back out but all the music still plays and it doesnt seem to be frozen.
I tried verifying the game said it was good tried again nothing...
tried uninstalling nothing ... tried changing the resolution nothing ... any help?

    I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Can you please clarify if you are playing on Steam, or the Telltale Games version from our website? Also, if you are on Steam, do you have Steam Cloud Syncing turned On?
  • Im playing it from steam on my laptop and i do have the syncing feature enabled. I do have a screen shot but it seems i cant post it here.

    If it is enabled, does disabling it, and restarting Steam allow you to access your saves? If it does not, please read this Sticky on how to run our Support Tool, and follow the steps to run the tool, and reply to this email with the download link copied and pasted into a reply.     there i ran the support tool as well and posted the link above, i dont know if you can see it because i cant see the link on my screen. If not let me know and ill re post it.

    I apologize, please check if you have Steam cloud saves enabled. (You can check this by right clicking on the game in your Steam library, clicking properties, and click the updates tab. Near the bottom of the page, you can see if the Steam cloud is enabled for The Walking Dead: Season 2.) If it is enabled, does disabling it, and restarting Steam allow you to access your saves?

    If it does not, please run the Support Tool again after disabling your Steam Cloud saves, and paste the new download link into a reply, and I will assist you further.

    I apologize for any difficulties this may cause you. We have had a few reports of this issue occurring for a small amount of players, and are currently looking further into why this issue is occurring. We hope to have a resolution for it in the near future. Can you please clarify how many save slots you had been using at the time of this issue occurring?

  • I only have 2 in use at the moment
  • With steams new streaming feature i can just do everything through my main pc so that works for me
