TWD S2 Ep3 crashing consistently -- FIXED

Dear Support Team

the issue below was resolved as follows:

Fixed. I tried the solution mentioned in another thread:

1. I disabled the Steam Cloud.
2. I deleted all the information in C:/Documents/Telltale Games/The Walking Dead Season 2
3. I started the game (worked now, but no saves)
4. I re-enabled the Steam Cloud and restarted the game
5. Viola! Game saves now taken from the cloud and game running as intended.

Original Post:
After enjoying Clem's most recent adventure and playing Episode Three, I've run game crash after game crash. Description of the issue below:

********SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS***********

After Clem is meant to bring the bucket of nails to the workers, the zombies attack. One of the zombies chases Clem, who then has to slip behind some planks to duck away from the zombie. I noticed while playing this sequence several times that the game suggested (helpfully) that I "HOLD A" to get away from the zombie. But no matter whether I held the A key, mashed the A key repeatedly or shouted in desperation, Clem wouldn't move through the planks fast enough to get away from the zombie grabbing her head.

After trying about 10 times, I restarted the game. Same result. In frustration, I left the episode alone.

2 days later (today) I was ready to restart the computer and replay the episode, hoping it had been a temporary bug.

Now, however, the save file will not load. It shoes up if I select play, it also shows up under save files...but either way, it won't start. The game crashes and sends me back to the desktop.

I've checked on both my BIOS and the NVIDIA drivers...both up to date. I've also reinstalled the game through STEAM. Same result.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Daniel

All files successfully validated. No change, the game crashes at the same point.

Also, update: The game now crashes already at "Connecting...". It becomes unresponsive and doesn't start up.
