  • Remember that photo with Faith, Lilly and Nerissa? Vivian wasn't there, so I guess she's not her friend.

At around :50, Nerissa says that she doesn't have any friends left. Does this mean that Vivian is dead? Maybe I'm just reading too far into it haha.

  • thts a sick and twisted idea but i love it! great theory!

Maybe the Butcher has been using body parts of Fables to produce that red powder you can find in the Tweedles' cellar? I imagine it could be used in magical rituals, etc.

  • The Jersey Devil did appear in the comics.

It counts as a Fable, as it's a folklore creature, like The Slenderman or Big Foot. It's not JUST fairytales. Hell, Gren is a Norse legend.

  • A lot of magic involved in this ep.

There so many questions at this point, I dont even think the crooked man is involved in this the only person I suspect is the butcher
  • it does seem so weird right now, but there must be links to them all that'll be revealed later. Bloody Mary works for the Crooked Man and has Crane in her custody, so Bigby must go after her and, in doing so, the Crooked Man. The Butcher could actually be the Crooked Man too, but judging by the screenshot of the Crooked Man on the wikia and the guy in the apron shown in the trailer, they are two different people.

  • What I want to know is, what's up with Nerissa wanting to get close to Bigby? I have this theory going on in my head. That Narissa is trying to break the spell cast upon her, to reveal whom the Crooked Man is and what he's up to. I think all these girls have become indebted to him because of something they really wanted (i.e. Narissa's legs), and to keep his secrets he puts a spell on them until they repay their debts. So they work for him as prostitutes for a time until they're able to pay him back. But once he knows they're about to repay him he has them killed so the spell can't be broken and whatever he's hiding is kept safe.

But I think Narissa has found another way to break the spell, by a true loves kiss, and she may think Bigby might be her true love. (Man I have to much time on my hands) anyway, what made me come up with this crazy theory is the way Narissa smiles at Bigby when he defends her against Georgie, and how she tries awfully hard to try to help him. Plus that scene in the trailer where she's holding his hand.

This idea is pretty different. A weird part is why Faith's head ended up on the steps along with glamoured Lily's. Could be someone who knows of the murders trying to bring it all to Bigby's attention - Bigby does say in the trailer that the thing that is going on is something that he never knew about or could stop. The spell must be there for an important reason, maybe they have met him in person or know where he lives. The spell prevented them from talking about who they worked for and their "appointments" with people. I assumed that it was merely there as part of the whole discretion thing to prevent them from revealing who they met

you can look it up on wikipedia, and according to zeke10 he was in Bookburner's army in the Jack of Fables arc, under the name "Omar".

Maybe the heads on the steps were Bloody mary's way of boasting or warning Crane. I didn't think they had any true purpose. Holly hinted that Lily was on her way paying off her debts, Faith also said something about she's not going to be doing what she does forever, which gave me the notion she was about to be done paying her debts off as well. Then they both end up dead. But who knows...?

  • Slenderman is more so an internet phenomenon rather than a fable, folklore (Jersey Devil) ,or urban legend. Grendel is part of Danish-Norse mythology (Beowulf). The comics don't seem to have that many mythological figures, like the Greco-Roman heroes, Willingham has seemingly ignored the classical myths (I'm not sure why).

It counts as a Fable, as it's a folklore creature, like The Slenderman or Big Foot. It's not JUST fairytales. Hell, Gren is a Norse legend.

  • Ok, so in one of mini trailers of an episode, we see Dee holding a (shotgun?) at Bigby, looking truly angry. I'd suppose that won't happen until Episode 5, though.

Wonder where Dee and Dum are in this episode.

  • "That's not fair! You're blaming him for the actions of a madman!" (And, or woman :P)

  • well since Bloody Mary seems to have that axe, it does seem to imply that she is the beheader. The connection with Faith and Lily was about the Crane photo I think, and they definitely do have debts to Georgie, who is of course under the thumb of the Crooked Man

  • One little question. What Butcher you are all talking about? :/
  • If you go to Dees office in episode 3 you will see a package from a guy called the butcher to the crooked
Man also in aunty greenleafs apartment you see a package from the butcher and the symbol on it is the same one used in the trailer, the meat factory also shows that we may have to track the butcher down.

  • Thank you for explaining. Looks like I missed those details.
  • I still can't get my head around the Bloody Mary scene in the trailer is it a dream or has she travelled through his mirror, looks like bigby is about be killed by her, I hope it's a fair fight this time, I wouldn't be able to stand bigby being defeated a second time by her.
