Did anyone notice that the voice actor for the butcher was...

The same guy who voiced Larry in The Walking Dead? it's funny, because he even looks similar.

  • sorry!! I thought you were asking who voiced the butcher so my comment was "Larry from the TWDG" then I saw that you already wrote that he was Larry...sorry again!!

  • So I'm guessing you all noticed?

  • Yeah there were quite a lot of speculation about. He was named for Episode 4 and there was no way Larry would voice the Crooked man. So I was the few many people who called it.

    So I'm guessing you all noticed?

  • Actually I saw it in the credits. In my 2nd playthrough I must listen closely because I really liked Larry's voice

  • I would imagine Larry saying... Sorry? I got Sorrys Coming Out of my Ass. Haha!

  • Nice, I actually didn't notice this but isn't it sort of ironic? ;)
    I actually thought Walter was making a cameo at first when I saw Johann

  • ahahahahah... no... No he does look like Walter though. but when he got angry I was like: Hey! It's Larry!

  • Yeah it is indeed ironic that he did Butcher after Larry ended his tragic life in cold storage. Wished i could slam Butcher with a saltlick lol..

  • Yeah, I noticed it right away, and almost bursted out laughing when he briefly got "stuck in a meatlocker" all over again. It also feels good to hear Gavin Hammond, aka Kannys voice in several of the characters in TWAU, such as Beast, Dee, Dum and The mirror.

  • And he was in a meat locker. Ironic.

  • Intentional? yep.

  • Voice actors are the same for TWAU and TWD

    Clementine = Beauty
    Kenny = Beast
    Bigby = Carver
    Butcher = Larry

    Check the wiki and you'll see.

  • bigby and carver have different VA

  • I actually recognized bis voice as being Terry McGovern's. I heard it, then I remembered that he would be in this episode and got happy that I recognized another voice.

  • Yeah I thought carver was voiced by some famous dude (idk his name since I haven't seen him in a movie)
