Telltale has a problem with the even numbered episodes.
Telltale started the wolf among us on a strong note. The first episode, faith was enthralling and exciting. Then, we had the script change. Don't pretend it didn't happen, we all know it did. Telltale shifted around, and we ended up with what was smoke and mirrors. Not too great. Had a very linear feel, like you had to go from one place to the next according to the story's then we had a crooked mile. Amazing! Branching choices, funny dialogue, good puzzles, cool action sequences. The series felt alive again. Then we got in Sheep's clothing. Also had a very linear, go from this place to that place feel to it. Here's to hoping that Cry Wolf is the best episode of the series!

I guess there's not much to say about what I've written...
All I hope is that episode 5 is longer than 90 minutes...
I wanted to make a discussion about this in the Walking dead forum because I noticed this too but then I would get dislikes xD
All that Remains: Bad start
House Divide: Good episode
Harm way:Eh...
So I think Episode 4 is going to be good but episode 5....oh please no!
We've already gotten plenty of negative posts about episodes 2 and 4. I personally dont feel like either of them were vastly different from the others. Ive been enjoying every episode.
Hmmmm interesting point, but I have to agree! Loved the 1st episode, got me hooked right away. Didn't like the 2nd one, and the third one was AWESOME! the last episode, eh, it was good, just not my favorite. But I don't think it deserves the hate its been getting.
I've enjoyed every episode also, i don't get the hate for the latest episode TBH. I guess a lot of people likes to complain just for the sake of it.
Right. People who do not like what you like must be "complaining just for the sake of it".
Right because thats clearly what i said
I liked All That Remains, but I agree with Harm's Way. Not the worst, but not the best.
All remains felt kinda rushed but I guess it wasn't that bad.
That's my only gripe with episodes. They are too short and I need more of it.
I think the negativity of episode 2 has passed for at least 75-80%.
Yeah, Telltale's recent episodes are getting worse. They're still good but decreased length, less exploration, and less characterization is kiling not only TWAU but TWD. Hopefully Telltale will wise up and make episodes similarly to how they made TWDS1's episodes. Hopefully.
I actually thought In Harm's Way was pretty good. House's Divide was good to but I guess I liked the brutality of episode 3. Though not much can top the return of Kenny.
I agree. I've liked all the episodes thus far, but I can't help to wonder how much better they could have been with the same or a similar length to TWD S1 episodes. Telltale have stated this is the direction they want to go with their games now...I can understand removing some of the puzzles, since there were times back in TWD S1 when they felt kind of forced. However, the lack of interaction and exploration as you stated, I do not.
I'm hoping they have seen the criticism this approach got and hopefully with the release of their future projects fix this problem.
I still stick with my notion that In Sheep's Clothing is my favorite episode thus far. Even if it kind of WAS the same Episode for everyone who played it.
If we bang on our drums enough, they might listen. I don't like thinking of Telltale as I think of most game publishers/developers (that is to say, greedy dicks), but if they continue to go in this direction with their games despite any dissent amongst fans, then those thoughts are going to start creeping into my head. The thought of that happening makes me want to chuck puppies into fires, but if that's the case then after TWAU season 1 and TWDS2 I might just be done with Telltale. God damnit do I not want that to happen, though.
Also, nice profile pic. Shirtless Bigby is best Bigby.
In my opinion, All of them are good, but yeah there was some unexciting bits especially with the fights.
Anyway, that just means that Episode 5 will be Exciting:)
