Season 2 idea

edited June 2014 in The Wolf Among Us

Lots of speculation about season 2 - and whether there actually will be one - has been passed around recently. I have an idea for a season 2 of sorts which I think would be pretty cool.

What if there was a kind of 'season 2', but it wasn't 'the Wolf Among Us' season 2, more of another series based on Fables? So we get to experience Fabletown from different perspectives.

I personally think a story based on Cindy would be really cool, as she's a spymaster.

  • I like your idea. It would awesome to see some of the other fables get a spot light like cindy

  • If it's Cindy I think it'd be more likely the story will be set outside or quickly move outside of Fabletown. Globetrotting is kinda part of her job. I'd love it if every episode is in a new place, actually.

  • It annoys me that people are downvoting this and not saying why it's a bad idea.

  • This is a great idea! Said no one ever.

  • I didn't down vote but I'll tell you why a lot of people did. Because Bigby is an awesome character whom people enjoy playing as. Why change?

The same reason why all Telltale franchises aren't just about The Walking Dead; namely, variation

  • I would bother pointing out that this isn't the case, but arguing with a troll seems pointless.

I think most people would rather play like Bigby. I don't know how interesting her spy missions will be, but the game wouldn't feel the same. It's just that i'm not sure if they can make a game with a story and new characters as entertaining as the ones in TWAU. Maybe our expectations are too high... Maybe TWAU is better with just one season.
