Jersey Devil Theory
I was thinking and maybe I know why Jersey is with the Crooked Man.
This is my theory: I the Fable entry update book was written Jersey's wings were cut of, so maybe the Crooked Man promised Jersey his wings back with a spell and maybe the same reason for Tiny Tim's leg. What do you guys think?

I do im not sure though hell im still wondering how he lost em lol
A magical axe of some sort
Its possible that The Crooked Man promised him that, but maybe he just works for money. Tim works for him because The Crooked Man is the only one who gave him a job.
Makes me wonder if him and woody have a history
According to his entry the wings are temporarily absent so I assumed they would simply grow back eventually. As for they reason why he and Tim work for the Crooked Man, it's probably because they needed money and had nowhere else to turn to.
I don't think so Jersey overpowered Woody when he was in human form and in monster form he f*cked Woody up. Also Jersey is a crypid so maybe a crypid hunter sure wanna know how he lost them hope they explain it in episode 5
Oh right I didn't saw that lol, but maybe they mean somethinh else than what you think I dunno
But to be fair woody managed to defeat bigby back when he was the big bad wolf so he's very good with his axe and so far his axe is the only enchanted one we know about
Hmm maybe.... but Jersey was back than in a whole other part of the world and Woody isn't a crypid hunter of some sort as far as I know... Maybe it was the axe maybe not...
It's possible, if you ask Beauty about Jersey, Bigby mentions that Jersey was in Fabletown before, maybe he fought with Woody then.
Maybe it was mary she did have the axe and he does seem to hate her
But who would win Woody or Jersey?
@nusi2 can you maybe start a thread with: Jersey Devil Vs The Woodsman
I think they fought before the events in the game. The Butcher made it clear that Jersey is in The Crooked Man's crew for a while. How long did Mary had Woody's axe? A day? We can presume rumors fly fast but nobody seemed to hear about Crane's replace.
I don't think Woody would have a chance, even with his axe, he was knocked out. Maybe Jersey underestimated Woody the first time and didn't knew how strong the axe is.
