The voice on Beauty & Beast's answering machine?

If you remember back to Episode 1, after Snow first comes to get Bigby and bring him outside of his apartment, they walk past a mysterious, orange haired man who just says, "Hi" and " Heh, yeah". He's also seen driving Bigby's taxi every episode too. Upon closer inspection, I saw that the color of his subtitles are orange. Then later on, it seems the man who calls Beauty and Beast in Episode 4 has the same orange subtitles!

So I believe it's official now that this man, named, "Cryer" according to Fables Wikia, really is a bad guy who's involved with the Crooked Man and his schemes.

UPDATE

I guess It's not the orange haired man after all. Which brings me to my new question, "Who do you think the caller was?".

(And on a side note, Beauty and Beast's answering machine message is hilarious! haha)

Not the same voice actor for Cryer and for the caller.

Also, I find it quite unlikely that weak little The Boy Who Cried Wolf could "come down there and bash [Beauty and Beast's] heads in with that machine".

Also, not the same colored subtitles.

Oh well. I thought I was on to something. There must be something wrong with my computer screen, because I could've sworn they had same colored subtitles. And yeah, their voices don't match either.

  • I just thought it was the Jersey devil. I don't think they'll be introducing any new goons now and the only person we know from the lucky pawn where beauty owes money, capable of making such threat is Jersey.

  • I thought it was Jersey at first, but now i don't think so.

Whatever. Compare Beauty's subtitles color in ep.1 to hers at ep.4 and you will that the color changed.

I have put some thought on the matter and I think the voice belongs either to Butcher or, more likely, to Crier, who yeah has proven to have a matching voice and is quite suspicious.

  • it seemed to me that this red headed guy got much higher voice, that the one on the machine.
