Downloaded season 1 not working

Can not figure out what the problem is. Since, I think just before season 2 came out, my downloaded walking dead season 1 game has not been working. I went to replay some of it because I wanted to show it to a family member, and after about maybe 30 minutes, varying on which episode I play, it just stops. This is really annoying because now my save files I use for season 2 are not using the progress I had from most of the first season. I even tried uninstalling it and redownloading it and it still is not working. Please help.

I apologize for the inconvenience. Please make sure that you are playing the Full Game, and not the Trial version of the game. If you are playing the Full Game version of the game, can you please clarify what model Xbox 360 you are using, how big the hard drive is, and how much space you have left on the hard drive?

  • I have an xbox 360S model and it is the full downloaded 5 episodes. The hardrive is 250 gb built in, and I have like 21 or 31 gb available now. It is really weird that it stopped working when it had too, because I had completed all 5 episodes on like, three different save files already. Or at least 2, and almost a third.

My apologies. We have heard of players with 2-3 full save slots say that their game stopped working after the save slots filled up. I recommend backing up your Season One saves to an external storage device, and then start Season One on a blank slot. (Please note that once you imported your saves into Season Two, they will have all of the data saved into your Season Two saves, and will not be harmed by backing up your Season One saves to an external device.)

  • Thank you for thr information. I am just now moving the save file to my cloud storage, so maybe that will help. If I still have trouble I may just delete the save file. If the data is already saved in my season 2 game, then there should be no problem in deleting the files that aren't working.
