Episode 1-1: After Whizzer chase

Okay, I got Whizzer and he told me where the home was. Sam and Max thank him and walk away and Whizzer asks if anybody knows where a bathroom is...then nothing.
He's standing there holding his crotch. I can see the drop down arrow in the upper left, but my cursor is gone. I can't click on anything, I can't save, I have to force quit and restart just to get stumped here again.

Any ideas?

P.S. The only patch I've found is one for the ONLY problem I'm not having with this game. Ironic, no?

P.P.S. I just tried loading from an earlier save and woke up the Soda Poppers in a different sequence. This time I'm chasing Peepers, when I stop him, he tells me the same thing Whizzer did, then he asks, "Does anybody know how to change a tire...and AGAIN nothing. Same as above.

    It's loading. Try giving it more time. Those load sequences can be pretty long.

    If still nothing, then I don't know what to say. It's not something you're supposed to do, it's a bug. Mods can probably move this to the right forum, though.

    BTW: It's actually Specs. Peepers is the one in Sybil's and always is woken up first.

    Got the same problem. Downloaded whole Season 1 from Steam yesterday, is there any fix?

    Tried reinstalling and talking to Specs as the last one, instead of Whizzers. Fixed the problem.
