You should compare yourself to videos you perceive as better to truly improve and get inspired

As I told him, if he keeps that thought to himself it's ok, but if you start saying and acting like it can be offensive towards certain people who think they did their best (because even if the other videos are terrible, they still put work into it and being told that would not really help).
