A few questions about the pre-order bonuses and the game
Hi.
First thank you for the great news of a new Monkey Island game. Now I have to find time to actually finish the 2nd season of Sam & Max and then replay all the four Monkey Island games :-)
I searched the forum but didn't find the answers for two of my questions :
- The pre-order include an exclusive DVD cover art. What if I order the DVD a year after the DVD release ? Will it still be available ? My point is that I won't be urged to have the DVD so I prefer to have more than one item to be sent to me by mail (in order to reduce shipping costs).
- It is clear that the game won't include any other languages than English. Just to be sure, will it include an option to have (English) subtitles just like in Sam & Max ?
Thank you for your answers,
Sebastien

We'll order enough of the special sleeves to cover the preorders and will make them available for a reasonable amount of time. At some point we might have to say "use it or lose it" since we can't just keep stuff sitting around in the warehouse indefinitely without knowing if people will buy it or not, but I imagine we'll have dates attached and make it very clear to people when they need to order by.
Just English. None of our Collector's DVDs (so far) have had foreign language options. (The Sam & Max game you're thinking of must be a retail version.)
For the language, my question was more specifically about the subtitles. Will there be an option to enable subtitles ? I'm fine with English but subtitles help us, non native English speakers, to understand most of (if not all) the dialogs. I would have totally missed a lot of jokes in Sam & Max if there weren't any subtitles.
