The &$#% happened to her????

What the crap happened to Brannigan? She was in Ep. 2 for 5 minutes, then that was the end of her. And for the initial Ep. 3 ad, it showed her watching Bigby. But apparently that script was scrapped because she didn't appear in Ep. 3 or 4. In my opinion I thought she could've added a lot to series. Sort of a early Batman-Commissioner Gordon dynamic. Batman is just doing the right thing in kind of the wrong way, and Gordon is doing his job to track him down and bring him in, unaware that he's helping him. Bigby is doing what's right, but Brannigan wouldn't be able to see that. She would've just wanted to bring him in and interrogate him. But maybe the Telltale folks thought it was best to cut her

The season had a rewrite from episode 1. That's why episode 2 was delayed and took longer than usual to release.

  • Maybe they could do a season 2 or DLC based on detective Brannigan and the NYPD.

  • They went against Canon and Bill willingham didnt like the way the story was going with the mundies discovering the fables in this case Branngan so they cut her outand rewrote the story so now its basically a gang war type theme instead of real investigating like episode 1 was. I think the rewrite hurt the series as episode 2 was dissapointing compared to episode 1 and very short.

  • Citation?

    I've been wondering about this.

  • Episode 1 was boring IMO. Too much investigating.

  • As it stand, the little misadventure with the police was a waste of time and damn near a plot hole. The Woodland is a private, gated community and the most protected by magical misdirection. A Fable wouldn't call mundy police, so that means a mundy found the head. How the heck did that happen?

Well if you read the comics then you know that Fabletown is discovered by a mundy on few occasions. So that is not an impossible plot line, also in the comics Bigby has revealed his secret to certain regular folks, like his WW2 involvment for example. So the whole NYPD plotline would have worked fine, I see no contradictions to the comics.

  • I thought it would be cool if Brannigan turned out to be some long lost fable. Now that would be cool!

  • You're a detective....What did you expect!?

  • Then she wouldn't be affected by the mindwipe.

  • I said too much of it. That's why I still haven't completed L.A. Noire. It's so repetitive. I'd rather have scenes in the cell... bad cop torture style...

  • Ah, you're right.

Then she wouldn't be affected by the mindwipe.

  • Not a contradiction, but a seemingly very important thing occurred and wasn't explored. The Woodland was swarming with mundy police. That's a pretty huge deal. The plot wasn't resolved, just clumsily dropped.

Unfortunately, ever since the incident down at the police station, she decided that it would be best to quit her job and move on to Broadway.

From there, she was to audition for a musical play entitled 'The Coffee Cake Mishap'. Luckily for her, she got the role - I actually saw her practicing her part down at the I Am The Eggman diner just yesterday!
