Where's the wire transfer?

Yesterday I wanted to buy the sound track for sam & max season 2, nut there was a problem: I've got no credit card and no paypal account (where they also want a credit card number). last time I ordered something here payed via wire transfer, but now it's not there. could you help by e.g. adding wire transfer again?

We had to remove wire transfer recently. Not very many people were using it and it was difficult for us to support.

You should be able to link PayPal to a checking account, without having to provide a credit card number.

:-( ok, then no Season 2 DVD for me ... I guess supporting European Maestro cards is as difficult as wire transfers. (I don't trust Paypal.)

I'd just like to point out, if wire transfer had not been available I would never have become a customer.
I do know quite a few people around here (Germany) that do not have a credit card and find PayPal's terms of service far beyond acceptable.
Just for info (and I hope I do not violate any forum rules with that) I am currently using the "virtual" credit card by http://www.wirecard.com/ - they are at least a proper German bank and it costs me less than a "proper" credit card.

I realise this would be sort of awkward, but just mentioning, you could theoretically set up a second bank account just to use for PayPal, and only transfer whatever money into it that you planned to use directly. That should take care of safety concerns, again theoretically.

Not worth the trouble for Sam&Max, perhaps, but it'd also be handy for other Internet transactions. International wire transfer is rarely available as a payment method on most sites I've used.

Hey, that sounds great (although I think the link of interest would be: https://www.wirecard.com/wirecard/).

I've been looking for a service like that, specifically to pay online wherever Paypal is not accepted, since my current bank does not issue credit cards. If I understand correctly, Wirecard make their money by charging you €1,- on every deposit, 1.5% on currency conversions, and outrageous fees on any special service you might require. And if I read it correctly, there is no way to withdraw any money you deposited. Is that right, or are there any other hidden costs or gotha's that I missed?

Nooooo! As a 17-year old I can´t open a PayPal account or get a credit card so wire transfer was my only option. I can still download Strong Bad episode 2 on my Wii (after deleting half of my virtual console games and buying new Wiipoints) but how am I supposed to get Sam & Max season 3 when it comes out?

    Some issue over here!

I don't have a credit card, nor do i have (want) a paypal account (a matter of trust). Without the wire transfer i won't be able to purchase any more items from germany, so won't be able to complete my monkey-sam-max-and so on experience without doubling my financial efforts i'm afraid. I played all games and episodes currently available up to now!

PLEASE find a solution for this!
