About the ending ( SPOILER)
So i think in the end scene we see the real Nerissa. Remember Georgie thinks he killed Faith. If Faith was the girl in the ending scene Georgie must have killed Nerissa. But that doesn't make any sense. It would mean Nerissa was glamoured as Faith when Georgie kills her. But why would she glamour as Faith? So i think Georgie killed the real Faith. Then Nerissa glamoured as Faith to initiate Bigby's investigation and get revenge on the Crooked Man.
I would have prefered Faith to live. But i don't think it makes sense. Maybe you have another idea how it went down or i missed something.
EDIT: Plus if we see Faith in the end she would need to use glamour for the rest of her life to keep up the charade. So it has to be Nerissa i think

Okay, after creeping here for a while i have a theory.
We never actually meet Faith, she's dead by the time we meet 'Faith'. In episode one, the 'Faith' we meet is actually Narissa, she was trying to make some noise to get Bigby's attention, to distract him while she goes to put the real Faith's head on the steps.
If the Faith we see on the steps is glamoured, her glamour would have worn off like Lilly's!
Only if the glamour tube has been open though, right? I thought Lily didn't change back until Bigby dumped out the contents of the glamour tube.
"Plus if we see Faith in the end she would need to use glamour for the rest of her life to keep up the charade. So it has to be Nerissa i think."
Doesn't Faith have a special "spell" or something that can hide her?
Like "GoneButLivedOn",* i think that we never meet Faith. In episode one, that girl was Nerissa trying to draw Bigby's attention.
The problem with that theory is not even the glamour wearing off. Even if the glamour would last forever it doesn't work because of Georgie.
Georgie thinks he killed Faith. This means he either killed the real Faith or Nerissa glamoured as Faith. But why would Nerissa glamour herself as Faith? She has no reason to do so.
So in the end we never met the real Faith. Still Nerissa wants to show us with her gestures and talks that she is the girl we met in EP1. I guess because she feels some affection for Bigby.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is the way it works
I'm certain it's actually Faith glamoured as Nerissa. Being disguised to look like someone she's not is the whole thing about Donkeyskin. It wouldn't make sense for the Little Mermaid to disguise herself as Donkeyskin.
OOH yeah fair point thanks for pointing it out!
I'm with you on that whoever it was in episode one is the same girl we talk to in episode five!
But, at the same time, why would Nerissa glamour herself like Faith to go to the Woodsman? He says he know Lily a lot, but he doesnt' know Faith at all. Why does Nerissa had no to glamour as Lily to go to the Woodsman?
"Georgie thinks he killed Faith. This means he either killed the real Faith or Nerissa glamoured as Faith. But why would Nerissa glamour herself as Faith? She has no reason to do so. "
Exactly, I'm having trouble following why the real Nerissa would glamour herself as Faith? So you're saying the whole time we met Nerissa (glamoured as Faith) since episode one and never met the real Faith. That's believable.
So is this what supposedly happened? (going along with your theory):
1.)We never met the real Faith. The real Faith was dead a while ago.
2.) The "Faith" we met in the first episode was actually Nerissa glamoured as Faith.
3.) Nerissa glamoured herself as Faith so Bigby would notice her.
4.) Nerissa already knew Faith was dead, so she put the real Faith's head on Bigby's doorstep to get his attention that the real Faith had previously been murdered. And knowing that Bigby just talked to "Faith", he would look into it.
My guess is Faith glamoured Nerissa's body to look like her so her cover wouldn't be blown. I haven't read the books, so I don't know if it's possible to glamour a dead person, but I'm guessing it is since glamoured people stay glamoured after death.
As for Georgie, he probably didn't want to give Bigby the whole truth, even while dying. Telling him Faith was behind everything would have taken the target off the Crooked Man's back, and he wanted him dead.
I might be completely off base, but why would they have made that character Donkeyskin if she's not going to disguise herself?
Because she knew that Woody would get mad, then Bigby would show up and save her. All this was to do that little "See ya around...Wolf" thing so he had some extra incentive to work on the case. Then, when Faith's head showed up on the doorstep, Bigby would know a little bit about the woman she was, slyly hinting towards the Crooked Man. Think about it. Faith could have been dead for any amount of time before the first episode started. If the only people there to witness the murder were the Crooked Man, Georgie and the girls under the spell, and they hid the body well, no one would have found her in the first place.
Nerissa Faith real Faith glamour Nerissa Faith Nerissa Nerissa Faith glamoured Faith Nerissa glamour glamoured Nerissa Nerissa real Faith Faith Faith Nerissa glamour Faith glamoured Faith real Nerissa Nerissa glamour Bigby Georgie Crooked Man.
That's my theory.
Seriously, fuck this, lol.
Makes more sense than everything that I've read.
"I might be completely off base, but why would they have made that character Donkeyskin if she's not going to disguise herself?"
TRUTH.
Am I the only one who thinks this is a really weak ending and a poor attempt at a twist? It didn't make any sense to me at all.
So let's say you're right and Faith glamoured Nerissa's dead body. That would mean that Georgie killed Nerissa. But that can't be true since she is dancing in front of him in episode 2.
That would be Faith. And it would actually make some sense: She's getting used to Nerissa's body and Georgie gives her "lessons" before the P&P opens.
Nerissa's been presumably working for Georgie for a long time, so she'd know how to dance to Georgie's liking. If Faith was only recently glamoured as Nerissa, she'd probably need an adapting period.
After reading all these comment I'm at the point where both theories make some sense, so good thing I went after her at the end just in case their is a second season.
I agree. The game was good but the ending was just a mess. I really have no idea what happened.
How did the Crooked Man even get caught? No one was breaking rank but when the Big Bad Wolf refused to leave he was like, "ah dang, okay it was Georgie", thereby forcing Georgie to reveal that it was indeed him working under the Crooked Man's orders. If he'd just sat there and kept denying it everything would've been fine. I'm just so confused.
