Game runs fine, but Windows gives a low memory warning.
Hey guys, I've really enjoyed both episodes so far and I'm looking forward to the remaining three. I'm having a problem with the game, though. As stated in the title, the game runs fine on my laptop, but when I exit back to my desktop I have a low memory warning from Windows suggesting I close programs. This happens any time I run the game, regardless of how long (so I don't think it's a leak issue).
Sure enough I've checked in Task Manager while the game's running and have plenty of memory available, with TWAU not taking up any huge amount.
PC info:
Windows 8.1 x64
16GB RAM
Intel Core i7-4700HQ
Geforce GTX 760M
Steam (and thus TWAU) is installed on a 1TB mechanical hard disk with a system managed page file, but I also have a 128GB SSD with no page file.
Again, it hasn't affected gameplay at all and had no noticeable negative impact on my PC except once, where my desktop background and icons had disappeared until a reboot (though I suspect this was a random Optimus quirk, not something related to TWAU or the memory warning).

I'm having the same issue, no crashes or low performance, it only happens on Walking Dead and Wolf Among Us. Other games run just fine. As TelltaleMike asked, here's my file:

I apologize for the inconvenience. Can you please clarify if you have any other programs open and running in the background while you are playing the game, that may be using some of your system's memory? You can also try the steps stated in This Article.
