error in episode 5, I never burned the tree

i HATE when stuff like that happens...its happened to me too before..like I would kill dum and in the next episode he's alive?? or vice versa...those are some serious glitches telltale needs to fix now that the game is complete...also, they need to fix when you get choices that all say "this choice is blank!"...so annoying. come on, guys. beta test this stuff better.
are you guys sure you used the same save file ?
same happened to me, and I only have a single save file so I'm absolutely sure. I offered Greenleaf a job and yet she accused me of burning down her tree.
I actually played all of episode five and then discovered that, apparently, Steam never cloud synced my playthrough of episode 4. As a result, the game made some assumptions about the decisions I made, and they weren't all accurate. You might look and see if something similar happened to you.
how do we fix it
I dunno. For me, I just intend to replay episodes 4 and 5 eventually.
She did say I offered a job. But then she was ungrateful in a few moments regardless.
same with me but different, it said i killed Dum but I didn't.
