How is it a kids game and what makes a game a "grown-up" game? If anything Mario Kart is NOT a kids game with how good you need to get at the game to get highscores (lap time) and race online vs other players.
Easy to play on easy mode vs computers, but with how hard the game can be i'd say kids should not even play it.

TWAU was great, but each episode was a little more sloppy on every level. TTG couldn't handle both TWAU and TWD Season 2. So both properties suffered for it. I lost a lot of respect for TTG. I don't expect it to win GotY, though it does stand a small chance. Each of those games seems to have very different strengths, though, which will probably help some specific categories. I don't see Left Behind winning overall, on account of it being DLC, but it does have some similarities.
If there's anything like "Best Visual Style", Wolf has a big advantage: it's got a very unique artstyle, manages to not look "cartoony", has advanced a lot from Walking Dead days, and has this big noir feel helped by lighting. Of course, in sheer graphical terms, others would be better, but it doesn't come down to just that. I could see Bigby being nominated for "Best Character", with some talk about shaping his character and all that. Don't expect him to actually win, however; could see reasonable competition from Left Behind if the original game was any indicator (haven't played it).

the wolf among us never reached the highs of the first episode, to many of the following episodes felt rushed and were to short. It ended up being a decent game, when it could have been one of the best games this year.

If Mario Kart wants to be good again, make Double Dash 2. Double Dash is the best one.
Hell No, this isn't as good as the walking dead series... nor was it as good at The Last of Us, or Tomb Raider or many other titles, this was good, but it had much less feeling than TWD imo. I wouldn't be sad if this doesn't have another season. I just never got that into it. The finale was decent though, fun to play - decent story, not on par with others out there.

Last of Us: Left Behind: DLC's shouldn't be nominated for game of the year in my opinion
Mario Kart 8: If TWAU dosen't win, my money is in Mario Kart.
Wolfenstein: The New Order: This game has decent graphics, decent gameplay, it's overall a decent game. But it dosen't deserve to be GOTY in my eyes.
Shovel Knight: A fun little game, not GOTY material to me.
Dvinity: Orginal Sin: Never heard of it.
