I thought it was pretty exciting. I enjoyed all the action scenes.
I thought it was absolutely incredible!!
It was cool. Too bad if you hop on CM's car though.
It was pretty cool. I liked it when the car was charging towards Bigby and Vivian says; "He's not moving!" I didn't move, even with them QTEs. Felt like a boss that I didn't.
I laughed at the end though when CONVENIENTLY there was an exact replica of the clothes Bigby was wearing moments ago.
Granted, he does wear somewhat plain clothes. So it's not completely impossible that there wouldn't be an exact replica. But man, talk about a perfect convenience. Was pretty funny though.
I loved the car chase scene, it was probably one of my most favorite action sequences in the game.
"I am just going to hang my washed clothes outside. It won't be stolen by some giant werewolf. No no...These things only happens in Fairy Tales." The Mundy said before he hangs his clothes outside.
I was under the impression that the inclusion of the 'longer' timer might be a new game mechanic. Would've been nice.
Regardless, I had loads of fun with the car chase.
It was so badass it was something I wanted to do as bigby since episode 1
It was fucking awesome!
The thing is, I'm sure TONS of mundies saw Bigby wolfed out.
Aw man I wonder what the newspaper articles said "WEREWOLVES IN NEW YORK!"
Cry Wolf was just epic period.
Definitely a change of pace from the typical action hand to hand combat scene. What was the bar at the bottom for anyway? Was that how much time was left or the distance away from them indicating that they were getting away or what?
I think it was supposed to be a timer.
I think there will be consequences in season two. I think that's why they scrapped the mundy cops spoiling the party (wasn't there a picture of a cop tailing bigby?) the amount of people that saw bigby that night...something will happen, this also links with sending unglamoured fables to the farm. If the cops investigate the woodlands and find a smoking pig/talking toad, things might get difficult for the fables.
The witches on the 13th floor can take care of that. They helped Crane wipe the memories of the police too.
That scene was awesome! Btw, does anyone know what happens if you jump on crooked man's car?
It was fun Telltale made that part so simple but i was excited when Bigby jumps over and over , then punches the car and stuff
Mary just stops the car and you go flying off, and she drives over you. You're knocked unconscious and awake topless in human form. Lacking any other ideas, you go to the Pudding & Pie (after getting dressed).
You arrive later, and in this version Vivian has already killed herself by the time you get there. You get to accuse Georgie of killing her, while he tells you why she did it. The two paths then merge and he asks for you to put him out of his misery. Nothing else really changes later on.
Amazing.
Pure brilliance, i have to also point out that Werewolfs definitely have a thing with running across rooftops lol.
The chase sequence was excellent, although it could have used a scene where Bigby had an option to steal some hotdogs from a nearby food stand or restaurant. I mean, a wolf needs to refuel his strength somehow, right?
Just to add one more comment, Bigby Could have given us a massive howl once he had reached the rooftops lol.
The scene itself was pretty awesome, but as some said before, people must have seen Bigby in his "werewolf-form".
It's a bit odd that this isn't mentioned by anyone during the rest of the episode.
I mean, if someone sees a pig in an appartment or a frog in a sweater that's a problem but if people see a friggin' werewolf run around the streets that's all right!?
What happens if you don't have Bigby dodge when Vivian guns the car at you? I had him go to the right, and he bounded up and over some rooftops.
Oh god, why did I read that as "an epic period."
-begins slamming head into keyboard-
The witches from the thirteenth floor could just wipe out the mundies memories. Problem solved.
Actually it would say an elusive shadow was seen. Bigby ran faster than every single car on the street.
(?) The Woodlands will remember this.
An entire city is impossible. I'm surprised no one took Bigby's speed into account.
They stayed within the confines of Fabletown. I think they can control that.
Oh my god. I was laughing so hard when I read that. Holy shit, I'm dying!!!
I don't know, if it was that easy then the rules for the other fables regarding the farm seem a bit harsh.
It wouldn't be so bad if a human saw a dressed frog as long as the witches just had to snap their fingers and everyone forgot about it.
Before anybody gets me wrong, I'm not saying that Bigby did some irreparable damage there. I just found it odd that nobody cares about it.
Considering how Snow was pictured in the previous episodes I'd think that she wouldn't be very thrilled how Bigby handled this particular situation.
It was a cool scene but the Mary fight far outdoes it.
She hits you and you hold on to the hood until you get another chance to bail. I don't know what happens if you ignore that prompt.
That's what I did my first time playing. I couldn't believe it actually worked. But the way Vivian even said; "He's not moving..." Made it look like you could ignore that prompt. Glad I did, felt like a boss too since it was my first time playing it.
Why was it a chase at all? I had to risk exposing Fabletown in order to go find Georgie...at the club that he owns. Bigby could have taken his time and tracked any of them by scent. And he knew he could only go after one car at a time. Honestly, he should have taken the time to drag Jersey and Dee through the portal and cuffed them somewhere to take to the Woodlands, then follow Georgie's or the Crooked Man's scent.
It was an awesome scene and added tension and excitement for me at least, some non-fables could have spotted him and I wonder what will happen with that...
Haha. I definitely cracked up when I saw that. A minor thing, really, so it didn't bother me. It did make for a good laugh though.
I really enjoyed it, but I loved the foundry scene even more. Bloody Mary scared the bejeezus out of me. Not a good thing to watch/listen to when you're all alone in the dark. Her sounds were so creepy. The heavy breathing. Ugh. It gives me chills just thinking about it. I'm a 28 year old woman and I was afraid to go into my bathroom at night by myself. I brushed my teeth in my kitchen because I didn't want to stand in front of my mirror for fear she'd appear behind me. Telltale made her very creepy. I was impressed. I didn't think she'd be creepy. I didn't even know she was glamoured until the trailer for Cry Wolf came out and you could see her lurking in the background.
I also thought that it was awesome to run through the city as werewolf Bigby. Jumping across buses, rooftops, and even staring down a speeding car.
At that moment when Vivian and Georgie were speeding towards me, in my mind I screamed "BRING IT ON, YOU SON OF A BITCH!" and ignored the prompt. Also, when Bigby had flew off the car after the brakes were stepped on, I think it would've been funny if a slide whistle was accompanied by it.
