Why wasn't Bigby shot with a silver bullet in the last episode?

We seen there were silver bullets on a worktop table before Bigby's fight with Bloody Mary. And when Bigby won, the Crooked Man could have shot him but yet he chose to make a deal with Bigby for a public forum. They already knew his weakness yet I wonder why they didnt do it.

  • I think The Crooked Man actually took a gamble and hoped that Bigby would've taken him back to The Woodlands so that he can have a trial. A trial he would have won if it wasn't for Nerissa.

Yes, but there's no reason that he would want to go make a pointless speech, particularly when the odds were good that he would be executed because everyone in fabletown hated him. It makes no sense. He had no motivation to do that. He should just have shot Bigby and continued his mafia operations since Bigby was the only one in Fabletown who could have brought him down. Also note that if crooked wanted to turn himself in to give everyone a lecture, he wouldn't have told Bloody Mary to kill Bigby. He would have just surrendered. Another huge plot hole: why didn't Mary just shoot Bigby like she did in episode 3? I don't think there are clever, subtle reasons; I think Tattletale just writes sloppy plots.

  • Bloody Mary is just crazy and I think she underestimated Bigby, so she was like "I won't need a gun to deal with a dog" or something like that.
Crooked Man is probably too afraid to make his own hands dirty (like Georgie said) and does not have the guts to shoot the Sheriff. On top of that he would not have had any chance to get free if he shot Bigby, because then everyone would have known he is guilty. I think he took his chances to persuade the people at the well and he might have managed it if Narissa (or was it Faith?) did not show up.

It was just another plot hole you can drive toad's car through, that's all. For that matter, a huge talking toad driving a car around New York city without the mundies having noticed yet is another one. Telltales stories are written by staff hacks, not JK Rowling.

  • Sad that you can't argue normally or give any proofs and just insult Telltale. If you dont like it, dont play it. It's just as simple as that.

  • This is just nitpicking, it's not really that important to the story, that's why suspension of disbelief is a thing.

  • I'm not "arguing" at all. Someone asked why X happened, and I answered her. What kind of "proofs" do you need that a human-size toad driving a car in Manhattan would be noticed? I bet you're one of those people who demands "proof" that Obama was born in Hawaii.

  • That's the same point I was making.

  • Thats the problem, you are not trying to discuss. You just implement that Telltale do shitty stories, though there are simple -possible- answers to "why X happened". Btw maybe Toads glamour expired and he didn't drive as a frog, thought of that?
Gladly I dont live in the U.S., so honestly idgaf where Obama was born.

It's fine if you like that stuff, but telling everyone who might click on your profile in curiosity about it isn't.

  • If Crooked Man did kill Bigby with a silver bullet that would just be one more thing he has to answer for. That wouldn't have helped him in the long run. He probably thought there was a good chance that if Bigby brought him in, then he could talk himself out of the situation.

  • He does try to shoot Bigby Wolf after the Bloody Mary fight, but as a warning shot.

As for why he didn't continue shooting, chances are he might not be that good of a shot and didn't want to waste anymore bullets not making his shots count before he ended up getting disarmed by Bigby.
