Episode 4 unavailable
Hi, I'm on Mac OS X, I own Season 2 from the Telltale store and still can't download episode 4. I tried restarting the game, and my laptop, many times.
It seems to be an issue affecting Mac users, which is the third time it happened at launch out of four episodes this season
Can you please try to fix this?

Yes I am connected to the internet, otherwise I wouldn't be able to post here...
I'm sure I'll be able to play eventually, but it's frustrating that this issue comes up (almost) every time.
I didn't want you to answer that as I saw this a problem for everyone.I asked you because sometimes when you launch a game that requires internet on a mac it won't connect(Mac are pretty tricky and advanced to work with).

This has happened to me in the past, too. I actually had to play episode two a day late because of it. However, one way to solve it is to go onto the Telltale Games website (if you bought it from there), go to your games, click on The Walking Dead: Season 2, and click download game. It saves all your progress (I've done this with TWD and TWAU before and it didn't erase anything so it should work) and usually updates the game.
However, I already looked and it still says that Amid The Ruins hasn't come out yet, so therefore I'm not sure if it's a Mac problem just yet, because the Episode apparently hasn't been released according to the website. If it didn't say coming soon on the website and the episode still wasn't downloading, then we would have a big problem. So I would say wait until it doesn't say coming soon anymore and then try again. If it still doesn't work, then we have an issue.

Yeah this has never worked for me and this has happened every time they've released an episode. They need to fix this now. They've got no more excuses.
Maybe they haven't released it yet? I mean, they're based in California, right? That means it's only 7:47 AM over there. They could be waiting until eight or nine to release it. If it doesn't work in the next couple of hours, though, then I think it would be a problem.

As Rtboh said, they should be aware of it by now and it shouldn't be a problem over and over again. If it affected PC users, I'm sure the forums would go bonkers.
Exactly. It's not like this is a new problem. It's been happening for every new episode of Season 2 meaning they should've known beforehand.
Well, I'm a PC user and I'm having the same problem as you. So if PC users being affected would make the forum go bonkers, then this is as bonkers as it gets.
Did you buy the game from the Telltale store? If so it's interesting to know I guess. It's just that the vast majority of TT buyers can play it and no mac user yet came out to say they can play the episode fine.
You're the only one. Check out the release date forum. Everyone who bought it from the Telltale store and has a PC has played it.

I've been looking at forums and there are people who've already finished the new episode! And I'm a Mac user and it was already supposed to be released for me by now. I really love the work you guys do and I'm soooo excited to play, but I find it unfair that others have gotten the game before us, especially when we all have the same release date. If they didn't have the same release date as us, then I would understand, but the fact that we were all supposed to get it at the same time and we haven't is very upsetting!
Please help us! I love you guys and you're the best, but this isn't the first time this has happened with Mac users for TWD Season 2. And I don't think I'm the only one thinking this when I say this isn't fair since we bought the game way in advanced just like everyone else, and we hope that this problem is resolved soon.

Just putting it out there, everyone, I think Steam people are waiting until 10 AM in California to get the episode. That's around 1 PM in New York so that's only about 45 minutes away. Maybe we'll get it then? But I have no idea. Don't take my word for it. It's just a hopeful guess.
True. it's getting pretty annoying seeing spoilers in thread titles and now I'm going into the episode thinking "What's stupid thing is Luke gonna do at the end?". Seriously we're supposed to get the episode first and therefore shouldn't be having problems with spoilers. Seriously help. Just say something. TelltaleMike??
Lol forgot to mention that I was able to get the ep around 1 PM my time, which is like 10 AM in California. I've already played it twice and will probably play it a third time tonight!!! Thanks so much Telltale! Best ep yet! It was amazing! I hope everyone else was able to get the ep as well
I apologize for the delayed response. Depending on the region you are currently residing in, the release date time may have differed slightly. As of now, all players should now be able to start the game, and be able to download, install, and play Episode 4. I apologize for any difficulties this has caused you, and I hope you enjoy the game!
But we're playing the game on Mac, not PS3...
I apologize for the mistype, the game should now be available to all players. if you are still experiencing any issues downloading the game, please try deleting your SyncFs folder from your
~Library/Application Support/Telltale Games/The Wolf Among Us/ file directory if on Mac,
and then restart the game, and you should receive any of the necessary updates to make Episodes 2 and 3 available to download. (Your Library folder is sometimes hidden, to make it visible, please open a Finder window, and at the top of the screen, click Go and hold down the Option key. The Library will now become available in the drop down menu. Click that and follow the above file path, and delete the SyncFs folder, then restart the game.)
