Network Unavailable error S2, E4

I'm running OSX 10.9.4 all software is up to date. Connected to the net and can browse other sites including Telltale games support section however when attempting to download Walking Dead S2 E4 the download stalls at 0% and provides the message 'Network Unavailable Please connect your PC to the internet'.
Tried killing the program and restarting computer but error persists.
Would appreciate any assistance.

    I apologize for the inconvenience. Please try deleting your SyncFs folder from your

    ~Library/Application Support/Telltale Games/The Wolf Among Us/ file directory,

    and then restart the game, and you should receive any of the necessary updates to download Episode 4 successfully. (Your Library folder is sometimes hidden, to make it visible, please open a Finder window, and at the top of the screen, click Go and hold down the Option key. The Library will now become available in the drop down menu. Click that and follow the above file path, and delete the SyncFs folder, then restart the game.)

  • Hi - I followed your direction.
    Please note that in the T'elltale Games' folder there was no 'the wolf among us' or 'file directory. From 'telltale games' I opened 'Walking Dead 2' and deleted the 'syncfs' folder.
    When I restarted the game I lost all saved files for ep 2 and 3. I did not want to download those eps again so I put the old 'syncfs' folder back in the 'walking dead 2' folder.
    I then went to the 'syncs' folder and deleted all reference to ep 4 in the 'data', 'meta' and 'temp' folders. I restarted the game - all my old files were there and I was able to start downloading ep 4.
    Received the same error message after it had downloaded about 10% of the game.
    Any further advice?

    If you are still unable to download the episode successfully, can you please clarify if you have any other programs open and connected to the internet, or any other devices connected that may be slowing down your download speed?

  • Please I have this exact same issue, but mine is on my ipad 4. I have closed all apps and restarted my ipad several times, but 'Network Unavailable...' keeps popping up at 0% when trying to download 'Amid the Ruins'. Urgent help please!

    I apologize for the inconvenience. Please close the game and all other applications running in the background. This should free up necessary system resources. (To close an app running in the background on iOS 6 and before: double tap the home button to make all running apps appear at the bottom of the screen, hold down on an app you wish to close and red buttons will appear, tap the red buttons to close the apps. If on iOS 7, double tap the home button and swipe up on the open apps to close them) Also, please turn off your iOS device for at least three minutes before attempting to play the game again. This will allow the device’s cache to clear.

    Then after restarting your device, please reset the WiFi by turning the WiFi Settings Off, and back On again. Then try starting the game application again, and see if you are able to download the episode successfully.

    You can also try connecting to a different WiFi network, and see if that has a stronger connection with our servers.

    I'm having a nightmare trying to re-download Season 2, and not received any reply from my email to Support outside of telling me that only the first 2 lines appeared from my email.

    Is there any way to implement the. "unofficial." download method from with Season 1, since that's the only method that was even remotely reliable and, above all, that worked.

    I apologize for the inconvenience. Can you please clarify if you are unable to download the installer for Season Two from our website, or are you unable to download the Episodes individually from within the program?
