I've probably seen this movie over 200 times, it's so amazing. It's actually my favorite movie of all time. The soundtrack is really memorable and sets up this romantic, dramatic tone for the movie. Disney re-imagined the sea, which is such a mysterious place, and they made it full of color and life. The whole concept of having mermaids vs. humans and what it would be like for a mermaid to want to be in the human world really interested me. Ariel was one of the first princesses to actually go out and pursue her dreams, and I really connected with that. She's also curious and loves adventure, same as me. The Little Mermaid is just so romantic and beautiful and magical and ALL THE ADJECTIVES okay I'll shut up now
