Black screen after startup

I just bought the game a few days ago and it's been working fine until I started it up today. Once I get past the 'click to begin' screen, everything goes black. There's no error message and I still have a cursor on the screen but that's about all there is. I ran the support tool and here's the link to the file (https://www.sendspace.com/file/zelo6s). I bought the game through steam and am running it on a mac that fits all the minimum criteria to play the game. Please help! It was loads of fun before all this started.

  • I have the exact same problem, which started today (I finished ep4 yesterday and everything was fine). I noticed that while starting the game changed monitor resolution a couple of times, something I hadn't noticed happening before.

  • Seems like everyone is having the same problem across all the different systems. Must be a server error or something. We'll just have to wait for them to fix it I guess

  • Actually forgot to mention the first occurrence was on PC for me as well. I tried reinstalling, running with various compatibility modes, screen resolutions and other screens (which are controlled by the onboard video card), without any change.
    Then I resigned to playing on my macbook air and the same problem persists (game wasn't ever ran there prior to this).
    Thought problem might be with the save files, went offline with Steam and renamed folder to have a new one created by the game, but it still ended up the same, on both machines.

    We believe to have resolved the issue. Please shut your device completely down, whether it be PC/Mac/PS3/Xbox360/iOS/Android, then turn it back on, and start the game while connected to the internet, and your issue should be resolved.
