I was in NYC today, and one of the things I did was go to a modern art museum. They had really, really weird shit there..... a lot of it I can't post because like 3/5 of the exhibits had some sort of porn going on >_<
One beautiful and inspiring piece really spoke to me.
Dyed sponges and a mirror. Freakin' dyed sponges and a mirror were sold for thousands of dollars to be featured in this museum as "art".
Then this random guy sneaked up in front of me while I was taking a picture, totally photobombing my shot and ruining my moment. Then he faced the mirror and we just stared into each other's eyes for awhile through the mirror while I was trying to get a pic. It was sort of romantic, in a creepy-dyed-sponge-$10-art-get-the-hell-outta-my-shot kinda way.
I'll never forget him, and the sponges that brought us together.
