In Ferguson, Missouri, protesting has been going on for days now on account of the death of Michael Brown, an unarmed teenager who was shot and killed by a police officer. The police officer has not been identified or punished, but instead given a paid 'vacation' (leave of absence) for the time being. Multiple witnesses say that Michael did nothing to incite being shot by the officer and even put his hands up right before he was shot repeatedly and left to bleed out on the streets for hours. And I even just heard about a woman who was six months pregnant being pulled ou… moret of her car by police and forced to lie flat on her stomach on the ground, even when she kept screaming that she was pregnant and she couldn't (they pointed weapons at her and threatened to shoot until she had no choice but to do it.) If she ends up having a miscarriage they need to be held responsible. This whole thing is really fucked up But you don't see any of this in the news right now.

Part of the reason that shit keeps happening is that soldiers and officers obey the higher authority and do shit that even though is not logical or human at all, is still what they "have to do".
