Saves not showing after Steam update

Hi. The last time I played was maybe a week ago. I just finished episode 4 and closed the game, nothing crashed, and I'm assuming cloud sync went okay. After I updated Steam, I opened up the game, but it didn't open right away. I quit the app and when I opened it again, I had to set up my preferences as if I just installed it. The menu even showed the gameplay options that you see when you start the game for the first time. My saves aren't showing up in the menu, either. I'm on a Mac.

    After looking over your support tool information, I can't seem to find any issues with your file structure. If Steam Cloud is enabled, does disabling it, and restarting Steam allow you to access your saves successfully?

    I posted the same thing on the Steam forums, and a couple of people have suggested moving the prefs.prop file from one folder to another. But it looks like the location of that file is switched on Macs. Has anyone here tried a similar solution on their Macs?

    I may be able to help you find your prefs.prop file. If you are on Mac. Your prefs.prop file should be in the following file directory:

    ~Library/Application Support/Telltale Games/The Walking Dead Season Two/

    Your Library folder is sometimes hidden, to make it visible, please open a Finder window, and at the top of the screen, click Go and hold down the Option key. The Library will now become available in the drop down menu. Click that and follow the above file path, and you should be able to find your prefs.prop file.
