Updating Content Forever
Very recently, but still before downloading episode 4 of The Walking Dead - Season 2, my game began getting stuck on the "updating content" screen every time it was prompted to play. I've left my PC alone for hours at a time only to come back and have it still updating. I can no longer play the game at all, and I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing this problem and how to fix it?

I apologize for the inconvenience. Below are a few possible solutions:
1) Verify your cache if you purchased through Steam (https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335)
2) Reinstall the game
3) Make sure that the Steam application is not set to a compatibility mode (right click on steam and click properties, then check compatibility, and make sure that it is not checked to play in a different OS)
4) Disable Steam Overlay, if you purchased through Steam (http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3168263)
5) Please try changing the download region from which your update is coming from. To do this, please click View on the top left of the Steam window, and click Settings from the drop down menu. Once the Settings window is open, click on the Downloads tab, and under the Download Region section, try switching to a different region using the drop down menu. Then close the Settings window, and restart Steam before attempting the update again.
This happened to me too, it keeps happening even if I completely reinstall the game. After I complete an episode if I quit it does this. I hope they fix it...
My apologies, you may be experiencing this issue due to the recent release of Episode 5, and a large number of players updating their games at once. I recommend restarting Steam, and see if you are then able to successfully update the game.
You can also try changing the download region from which your update is coming from. To do this, please click View on the top left of the Steam window, and click Settings from the drop down menu. Once the Settings window is open, click on the Downloads tab, and under the Download Region section, try switching to a different region using the drop down menu. Then close the Settings window, and restart Steam before attempting the update again.
This is absolutely ridiculous. Looks like ill have to get it by other means now. Saying it is network unavailable, it is on your rubbish standalone version too. Last mistake I make.
My only other suggestion would be to try resetting your internet access, and then restarting the game, and try again. Unfortunately due to the high amount of traffic, you may need to try more than once to successfully connect and download the episode.
What else can we do?
