My Choices Locked in Main Menu
After downloading episode 5, My Choices in main menu appear to be locked. Additionally I can't transfer my save files to my macbook via Steam Cloud. I tried launching episode 5, but I quickly realised that they were created randomly. Please help.

I am not a Telltale Support Staff member - only a volunteer moderator going off my own experience - but I think I have an explanation. From my own personal experience, I think that PC and Mac versions of the game have different save files.

Ok, I didn't know that, thanks. Still, the main problem is that I don't have my choices.
Is this occurring on the same platform you played previous episodes on? If so, then I don't know but the support staff member @TelltaleMike can probably help you.
If you can't see choices on a different platform, I imagine that is the same problem as earlier. I presume you meant that you can't see choices on the same platform, but I figured that might be worth pointing out just in case.
Yeah, I completed all episodes on the same pc, except for the newest one. I'll wait for @TelltaleMike then. Thanks for help mate.
Ah. I think this extends across different machines (regardless of being the same platform) and not just different platforms. I've had some odd experiences myself with Steam Cloud for Walking Dead Season 2, whereas Wolf Among Us, Walking Dead Season 1, etc worked fine with Steam Cloud for me.

As @BlindSniper stated, PC save files and Mac save files are unfortunately incompatible with each other.
Can you please clarify if your choices are locked on your PC, or on your Mac?

I apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately if you transferred the files to your current PC using Steam Cloud saves, your choices may not have been carried over correctly. We recommend disabling Steam Cloud for our games, as issues such as these may arise. I recommend playing the episode on your original computer where your other choices are stored, and your choices should then register correctly. I apologize for any difficulties this may cause you.
The only two things that I did on my "not original" computer was installing the game and going into main menu. Everything I wrote about is happening on my PC, where I've completed all the episodes (except for S02E05).
Does this change anything?
Your choices should be properly recorded if you played through on the same computer. Can you please clarify if your choices were fully correct before Episode 5 was downloaded?
Yep, everything was fine.
Please try uninstalling and reinstalling the game on your computer, and restart Episode 5, and see if your choices are then updated correctly.
Unfortunately no.. Still locked and created randomly after launching episode 5.
