Cannot Play The Walking Dead season 2 (Steam) in full screen.
Hello I just purchased the Walking Dead season 2 on Steam and I am unable to play the game in full screen. I had the exact same issue with The Wolf Among Us but relented and played it in windowed mode because it didn't impact the atmosphere too badly for that title. With this game however I would greatly prefer to find a solution to this as playing in a windowed mode would greatly ruin the atmosphere for this game. Can you please clarify if you have tried changing the game's resolution and graphics settings to a lower setting from inside the Options Menu in-game? If not, I recommend trying this, then click Apply, and change it back to Full Screen Mode. Please also try the following two suggestions:
1) Disable Steam Overlay, then restart the game (http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3168263)
2) Opt out of the Steam Beta, then restart the game (http://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/1/828934424165581080/)
I disabled Steam overlay and I am not in the Steam beta. I have changed the resolution for the game while in windowed mode and full screen will not work. Also, my drivers are updated and so is DirectX. I changed the graphics settings as well.
I have also done all of the above to no avail, I have also made sure all my drivers are updated, verified steam cache, and reinstalled.
I have gotten it to work, I needed to manually adjust the in game resolution (push it higher then default not lower) to match my desktop resolution. and then it worked in full screen.
i attempted the above fix. and it did not work. I lower my pc resolution and pushed TWD above it and same error

@jioto I noticed after looking over your support tool again, that you have a backup folder with save files for Season Two here:
C:\Users\Jio\Desktop\New folder (2)\The Walking Dead Season Two
I recommend renaming the prefs.prop file in there to prefs.prop.bak to disable it, then restart the game, and see if you are then able to play in Full Screen Mode.

I apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately I am out of potential solutions to resolve your issue. I recommend adjusting the game's resolution to match your monitor's native display (1920 x 1080) while in Windowed Mode, and the game screen should match up with your monitor, even though it is in Windowed Mode.
