Is there any way to show all clickable objects? [yes - press F4]
Hi,
is there any way (pressing a key) to show any clickable objects in a location? Because mostly im just stuck, because I didnt search every milimeter of the screen. It´s a bit frustrating, if you have to do that.
If its not in yet, please Telltale put in some option like this, because searching the screen for objects is not nice.

No, you must do : Alt + F4
HaHa! Classic! That's the keyboard shortcut that closes Windows applications! Pressing that key combination would cause them to close their game, possibly without having saved beforehand!! HAHA! Classic..
Searching is, and always will be one of the major parts of point and click games.
Aside from puzzles, It's like the second most important thing.
However in telltale games most clickable bits are pretty obvious anyway so its not the end of the world they dont have it.
Games like The Secret Files though, which do have an option to show clickable areas, would be much the worse for not having it..
Pixel hunts have to be the WORST part of point and click adventures! Not being able to progress cos you didn't mouse over those few non-descript pixels! The Runaway in particular wa awful for this and thats why i didn't get very far with it...
Then it's the wrong game series for you..
There wasn't a button like that in the other Monkey Islands either, so why would they add one to Tales?
If you think it is, im ok with that. I also don´t want to cry about it, I just don´t like searching, but this still doesn´t mean, that I don´t like the game. I´m happy with or better I love it.
You said you liked the riddles..? Then why do you have to search through all objects? Why can't you solve the riddle and then click on the right things? If you keep your eyes open, you don't have to search for things.. you'll remember where they are.
I was pretty sure that I'd seen that pressing F4 when it graphics setting 7, 8 or 9 actually DOES show all clickable objects, but I can't test it myself, as mine crashes with anything over five and works best at three :P
And to be fair, there wasn't really that much to find in narwhal, nor were the items hidden.
Episode 3 I stumbled across the feature and have completed it without resorting to looking for hints. Few places I got a bit stumped but it was so much more fun to complete the episode with only a few hints as to where I might have missed clicking, compared to having to go out and find a walkthrough to point out something I missed that could be clickable. It all depends on how good you are at adventure games I guess. But being stuck rubbing every object against everything, seeing and hearing the same animation over and over, merely because you've missed a clickable object...it just sorta subtracts from the fun.
Solving a riddle after some thought and trial and error leaves you happy you managed to figure it out. Solving a riddle after you finally manage to stumble across something you didn't know you could click after having spent half an hour trying every little combination you can think of, that's just frustrating.
