Obviously as a pre-warning, spoilers may not always be covered, so if you only want a few hints, It'd be best to scan through posts as quickly as possible. If you're also posting, you can hide your replied with [ spoiler ] Without the spaces [ /spoiler ].
Oh, and, the major hint anyone would give you about the game; click on everything you can, even the smallest tinyest possible thing that can be clicked on, click on it! and explore!

The major point of this game, as I'm sure all of you know anyway (without sounding too much of a patronising git) is to work things out.
I'm not too sure on all the keybindings yet, not had a proper chance to work them out, so for the most part it's a 'find out as you go'.
There have been a few threads cropping up about places not appearing on the map and finding shortcut to things, thats not the main point of these games. Places will appear on your map as you progress further, if you can't find anywhere new, it means you've yet to do something in a previous area. I also can't say this enough, click on everything!.
Current 'shortcuts' I know so far.
Movement - 'WSAD' and The Arrow Keys. Or if you prefer, Click and drag.
Inventory - 'I', Middlemouse button, and tab.
Examine - 'E'
Skip Dialog - Rightclick
Run - Shift, Doubleclick an item (left mouse button) to run towards it.
Show all clickable objects - F4 (Only avaiable on Graphics settings 7/8/9)
If anyone knows anymore It'd be nice to get them alltogether.
Please correct me, if I made any mistakes. Greatly appreciated.
Well, enjoy!

You can also move around by using ASDW or the arrow-keys.
I hope nobody misconstrues this as advertising, I am just personally fed up of having to read through the storyline to get puzzle hints and ruining the plot for myself so I wrote a walkthrough that was better. Tales of Monkey Island Walkthrough
