Unable to access save files
I've tried all the suggestions I have seen regarding not being able to access save files. This is for Walking Dead season 1 via Steam. Steam cloud is disabled. Here is a link to the tool zip that you need: https://www.sendspace.com/file/nf9gzq

Please rename the prefs.prop file in
C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\Telltale Games\saves removed
to prefs.prop.bak to disable it, and your save files should be restored.
No, I have tried that and they are still not restored. Any other ideas?
I've also tried swapping the files as suggested in other threads and still nothing.
You can also try switching the prefs.prop file that you renamed to prefs.prop.bak in
for the one in side your save file directory, and see if you are then able to successfully see your save files.
No that did not work either
My apologies, unfortunately if none of your prefs.prop files were able to restore your save games, they may have become corrupted. This can happen if the game was ever closed or exited during an autosave or loading sequence, or if Steam ever switched to Offline Mode during a save. I recommend deleting your saves, and disabling Steam Cloud saving for The Walking Dead. Then start a new game with Steam Cloud disabled, and you will not run into the same issue.
