  • Naw, he fell asleep by the start of the 4th quarter. It was 56-0 at that point so I can't blame him.

  • How long do you think it'll take them to be competitive in the SEC? I know its been tough the last few years.

  • fucking awful game. they looked like college players there. jesus I couldn't believe my eyes.not a first down till the 3rd QT???? are you kidding me??????

Anyone watch the annihilation of the Bucs, 56-14? They looked like they didn't belong on the field with the Falcons.

  • PACKER FAN PUTOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I literally have no idea what people are talking about right now.

  • Yea it was embarrassing. You don't expect that performance from professionals.

  • American football. I'm guessing your more of a rugby guy?

Not trying to take a shot or anything.

  • Nope. I'm Aussie, but I rarely watch our football either.

  • im not even a bucs fan, but kinda thought and predicted that the south would become kinda like a nfc west lite, that that division was going to have like winning records and they were going to be a tough team to beat. now it doesn't even look like that anymore. I though that they might even finish 2nd cuz I had NO 1st. but goddamn this division is impossible to predict. I had NO 1st, bucs 2nd, ATL 3, and CAR 4 ( I thought that their offense was going to suffer but I guess not). fuckin bucs, they had, have I should say, a strong defense, lavante, Gerald, and all those cats looked to have a good year, their secondary aint to shabby either. I thought McCown was going to be good, not what he showed in CHI cuz that would probably never happen, but it thought atleast having those towers of Jackson and evans and that TE was going to spark something along with Martin, but jesus. I know a lot of them guys were out but my god that was still awful. again no 1st downs till the 3rd QT????!!?? jesus Christ.

  • The NFC south is always a little wacky. A new team seems to win it every year. They might not be NFC west strong but ATL and Car are looking pretty good. NO is also gonna be tough to beat down the stretch, don't let the 0-2 start fool you. This division is gonna have 3 teams fighting for playoffs spots. The Bucs are gonna be fighting for the #1pick lol

  • I feel ashamed not knowing about this thread. v_v

  • yeah I know freaking South. yeah I know but ihad my problems cuz I thought that the Falcons O line was going to be really shaky, and that preseason lost they had there didn't help me think that they were going to be better, but damn they have done a good job. and Ryan is playing furious, minus that Cincy game, like he's mad of what they went through last season. also Julio Jones healthy doesn't hurt, ohhh and Hester I knew It was going to be a key addition to them, just not as big as he has been now. Carolina has impressed me their offense is going to held up just fine. but the saint kinda worry me a bit. they don't play so well on the road, I know it was against the falcs and the browns, who have a crazy D, but still, their defense doesn't seem to be what it was last year, more like 2 years ago which wasn't pretty. and also again like nfl and espn have shown in stats, brees play significantly on a lower level when he is on the road. he throw picks which hardly does on their dome, so that has me a bit worried since I pick them to win their division and go to the playoffs and still do, but still a bit worried. and yes poor tampa they might need to trade to get atleast like 2 1st rounds pick in the draft.

  • I enjoy the Niners but some of the people in my town go nuts! There is this one guy, every season, paints his car their team colors and flys the flag on his car. Its insane! XD

  • I followed the Jags since it came to the league. Them not being good for awhile keeps my focus on other things. Being a die hard is too stressful. That '99 season burnt me the fuck out.

  • Redskins vs Giants tonight. Anybody gonna watch? Predictions?

I don't like either team, but I guess I'll roll with the skins. Both teams looked terrible so far, but somebody has to win.

  • I want the Giants to win, simply because they are the weaker team in the NFC East and they are less of a threat to the Cowboys.

I'm a Cowboys fan, born and raised. But I don't know how to play and don't watch that much. Me and uncle though like to play catch with a football though, and I'm learning how to play Football in my gym class. Does that count?

Do you get shit for being a Cowboys fan? My friend and I always get shit at school.

  • MY COWBOYS! WHY?!

I'm a football fan both college and NFL. My favorite NFL teams are the Falcons and Jaguars(yes I'm ashamed of the jags xD.) Only teams

  • Do you get shit for being a Cowboys fan?

Yeah, especially since I live nowhere near Dallas. And my friends have no clue what they're talking about, so it's kind of frustrating.

I live In New Jersey, near New York to be sure, so, everyone's like: "lol fuck u cowboys suck giants FOEVER"

my uncle also hates the Giants, and he was born in the 50's or 60's, so I guess those times the Cowboys were in their prime.

  • HOW BOUT THEM COWBOYS!!!

Not gonna lie. I didn't have high expectations, and definitely didn't see that beat down coming. Gotta give props to the defense and O-line. Demarco is a beast. Hopefully he can stay healthy with that physical running style.

  • lol yeah, everyone in my school is like: "GAWD DAMMNIT, HOW DID WE LOSE TO THEM?!"

If the offense protects the football and they stay healthy, I honestly feel like they are basically unstoppable. Even when teams stack the box to try and stop Murray, they can't do it. If teams over commit to try and slow Murray, Dez will kill them. Terrance and Witten can be deadly as well. On top of that, the Cowboys have one of the best O-lines in the game. With Romo getting healthier and healthier, I think this offense can be scary good.

And obviously the defense is playing much better than expected.

This was so satisfying, especially after they destroyed us last year.

  • holy fucking balls.... patriots..... what THE FUCK??????????????

  • It was basically perfect revenge. They won 49-17 last year, and Dallas should have won 45-17 this year if not for a botched call on the fumble returned for a touchdown at the end of the game.

  • Health is definitely the most important factor. Defensively we have no depth with all the injuries (Mo Claiborne was a addition by subtraction lol).

  • Its just one game but it looks like the margin of error has decreased this year. Brady's not as precise and he is rated with the 2nd worst long ball percentage (passes over 20 yards) in the league. We will see how they fair against the Bengals on Sunday at home.
